Okay story time: when I first joined tumblr, I made a Alex Kingston, doctor who and Sherlock blog. (actually this wasn’t the first time I had joined tumblr, I had a few other accounts as well but I forgot the passwords and email addresses for them. RIP) anyway whilst I was running this dr. who and Sherlock blog (kissmekingston.tumblr.com) I found myself joining other fandoms. (the first ones where grey’s anatomy and Rizzoli and isles) but because I didn’t want my blog to become too much of a mess and I quite liked how it looked when I stuck to simply posting dr. who and Sherlock, I didn’t reblog or post anything to do with the new fandoms i had joined, as much as I wanted to. I went on like this for probably a year or so, simply tracking the ‘Rizzles’ and ‘calzona’ tags and liking posts until I became friends with someone on tumblr who had made a sub-blog for their Alex Kingston blog, to keep it separate from their other fandoms. I decided to follow suit and made and sub blog for my Rizzles and calzona and any other fandom I have joined. So that was what I have been doing until now. Because I went off Doctor Who ever since Peter Capaldi took the helm and because Sherlock is always on such long hiatuses and because the Alex Kingston fandom isn’t as active as it once was, the activity on my blog slowed down immensely. However at the same time, the activity on my sub-blog (carmillaclones.tumblr.com) was picking up as I had joined the orphan black and Carmilla fandoms. I wanted to delete kissmekingston.tumblr.com as it was no longer of interest to me but as it is my original blog, it would mean I had to delete carmillaclones.tumblr.com as well, something I was not willing to do. So here I am, with a dead blog, not quite knowing what to do with it. Anyway I hope this explains everything for you. If you read this far, you are crazy and I love you
