Apparently, he told Valentine that he was done going after The Palace and cut off communication with her until recently. Perhaps he decided he wasn’t quite done with them. However, according to Valentine, if he wanted them dead he’d have just had his underlings kill them. Maybe he wants them all in one place before killing them? 

Like a mass execution???

Do you really think he is doing all that from a high security prison cell? I mean I guess it’s possible, but it’s just strange... Also how could such a cruel man result in a sweet girl like Lucy? And then turn her for work like this...

I can’t possibly see what reasoning he would have to use Lucy to lure in his enemies. Mostly because he faked Lucy’s death as a child to get her away from all that nonsense. It wouldn’t add up unless he had a complete change of heart.

If I remember correctly, his enemies needed Lucy for something. That would explain why he’d use Lucy as bait. However, like you said, I don’t understand why he’d suddenly decide to do this. He had to have had a change of heart. 

What do you think he plans to do with them?

Radiance said that the organization was called “The Palace” and that they were set on eliminating Reve’s people at one point. As soon as Lucy died they left it alone but I think now that Lucy is visible to them again....

Whatever Reve is planning I can’t be sure, but I would guess it might be some kind of revenge for ruining his operation, I know that Ms.Valentine said he wanted revenge at some point. Something about meeting with the Palace and faking Lucy’s death changed Reve as a person completely, finding out that they tricked him and he lost some of his best people for it is another reason, or maybe the loss of his real family had finally taken the toll on him.

They definitely haven’t been in contact for a while, and it’s probably because he knew she wouldn’t approve of what he was doing. I suspect Eerie is having someone pose as Valentine in order to manipulate Lucy into doing what he wants. The thing is, I don’t what he wants. He might be trying to lure in his enemies, but I’m not sure. I thought perhaps you could provide a new perspective.

Well, I can’t know what she didn’t tell me about, but she did tell me a lot. Namely, Reve Eerie’s past.

Ah, so she told you just the same. What she told me was an overview of his whole past and what he had done. She didn’t seem to be aware of his current situation or actions though. She didn’t even know he was in jail at the time I met her.

Yeah, she did. I’ll tell you more about that in a bit, since that’s not entirely why I’m here. You see, I talked a bit with the person whom you brought back from France and she told me some information. I was wondering if you knew anything else. I want to finally understand.

Ah, so you met Ms. Valentine... It might depend on what she told you exactly. There’s a lot of information and I can’t say what’s completely true or not for sure.

Yeah, recklessness did kind of get me where I am. I’ve also seen it take people down.

Anyways, been up to anything reckless yourself lately?

Pff, haha. Even seasoned lawyers need some excitement here and there; to feel like you’re actually making a difference. Personally, I don’t know where’d I’d be if you hadn’t saved Karolina.

Ah yeah I was pretty young and reckless, plus I’d do almost anything for an old friend. I still take on a lot of clients, I think I just judge cases a lot more carefully before taking them on now.

You’d think there’d be plenty more exiting cases in a city like this, huh?

Yeah... I think I’ve had a lot of the excitement already. Probably just letting other younger and newer attorneys get cases like that.

Ah yeah well it’s good to see you again. I usually just see Karolina around when she’s by herself.

I’ve mostly just been dealing with average cases lately, picking up help where needed.

(All these cases just seem so pointless now, I mean I know I’m still helping people but I just don’t feel anything in it anymore)

Well…something happened and Lucy went missing for a while. The good news is I’ve found her since I tried to talk to you. Or rather….she found me.

[Subconsciously rubs his side]

Did she tell you what she was up to when that happened?

I came to talk to you a couple weeks ago, but I heard you were in France. Is that correct?

Yeah. What did you need to talk to me about?

[Wonders if he should really tell Carrie about where Lucy had been and what she had been up to. It’s too late now]
