I still don't get the joke in cars 1 when lightning mcqueen says "race cars don't need headlights because the track is always lit" And then the Rusteze truck says "so' s my brother but he still needs headlights". I don't get it, someone please explain...😅

“Lit” is an American slang term for being drunk. I didn’t get it either as a kid, especially as it’s not a phrase we use in the UK.So he’s saying that his brother is always drunk but still needs headlights.
