I am looking for a girl. Her name is Marinette. Have you seen her here in this town, maybe?”

“Nice to meet you Julian and I’m always at your service,” Carter replied, tipping an imaginary hat all the while. “Marinette, I unfortunately can’t say I have. However, I’ll be sure to keep my ears wide open for the name. Certainly hope you find her soon though and in the meantime, always happy to lend a hand or two.”

*· ☆,.- Whomever this guy was, him attacking the stranger was enough to make Julian using some of his fairy powers to blow the man down before the stumble away screaming. “Wow… guess he won’t be trying this again so soon.”

“Let’s certainly hope so,” Carter agreed as he watched the attacker leave. “I don’t want to ask the stupid obvious question, but I have to. Are you alright? Anything i can do to help?”
