Emi's introduction.
Emi Park. they're a black serval, though one shorter than normal servals â to put it in perspective, servals are, like, twice the size of normal cats, but emi is maybe 1.5x instead of 2x. shes generally tall, but not tall in serval standards. emi does have spots like other black servals, but i rarely draw them because theyre quite hard to see with her pitch black fur â usually theyre noticeable on the bluer parts of her fur. any/all pronouns, omniromantic, aegosexual.

now, they were originally an anomaly oc, but I thought it would be funny since they'll never be more than an oc to make them a working anomaly oc cause...you know anomaly intern hc? yeah, theyre not the only one anymore. theyre the observer, though now that I think about it a more fitting class name would be the detective, maybe, because they could be very helpful for catching anomalies. pictures with lore below, will add alt text when I can.
its better to refer to the first photo over the second for general emi, as i kinda abandoned the second and the first is more recent, but the second does explain their anomalous side much better.
emi is genderfluid, any pronouns but they get really happy internally when theyre called a he. theyre neutral about she. anything else is also fine. yeah. they also really like it/its, but not as much as he. theyre neutral about they as well. any pronouns are accepted, though.
they dont trust easily, but are reckless and so their anomaly status is often revealed. they still don't know how to not be obvious about that at least once throughout their shift.
ok. so. relationships. (before the explanations, for context, ratthew is my comfort character so I made emi and ratthew found family. and I fear I fell into the oc x canon trap so thats why Dr harlow has pink. AND theres mentions of "AC", thats the pink spotted anomaly because emi and ac are friends so theyre mentioned a bit. and also also the picture in the middle was drawn by my friend who made AC! not me!! theyre very peak.
the family/siblings to Ratthew and rattina is because found family ratthew and emi so by proxy rattina is also family. thats why its "who?" from rattina but family from emi. and secret agent and emi are family because theyre like. distant cousins. emi is a black-furred feline just like the agent, but while agent is probably a housecat, emi is a serval (her spots are there, just difficult to see because theyre a very similar shade of fur compared to the rest of her fur.) and emi is an anomaly while the agent isnt because emi was turned into one and agent doesnt know yet because emi is #good at disguising self. emi is wary of the psychologist for reasons shes not too sure of, he just makes her uneasy. she cant figure out why. the head nurse and emi are vaguely friends, but closer to acquaintances because they don't really know each other, hence the mix of "who?" and "friend". emi suspects the intern may be some type of anomalous animal with full sentience like she and AC are, and while she cant be sure whether shes right or not, she still decided they'd be fine to befriend. she doesnt have many friends in the hospital because she doesnt wanna be found out, so intern is one of the animals who shes closest with, and nurse is a friend of intern's, so they met each other and also became friends. surgeon, paramedic, and security are all wary of emi because they've seen her act 'slip' sometimes (eg. her staring hungrily at patients...) and emi doesnt really know them or notice their unease, but she does notice the security's distrust, and hates them for it. the security animal looks at the cameras WAY TOO OFTEN whenever emi is in the sight of said cameras, and has once even tried to use the anomaly scanner on her, though it didn't recognize her as an anomaly due to her not having anomalous reactions to cameras and the scanner likely having similar technology to cameras, and she knows theyre on her trail and is suspicious. shes not happy that shes a subject of suspicion. emi hates Ron because of how much he knows about the corporation and the anomalies, plus a bit of dislike from ratthew (NERD!!! GO FILE UR PAPERWORK!!! -ratthew, very roughly paraphrased) and Ron sees her vaguely hostile stares and is scared, so he usually requests someone else treat him . heh. barney is wary of emi because he knows she can tell he's an anomaly, yet theyre in each other's presences a lot because of barney's closeness with AC and emi's vague friendship with AC. emi dislikes officer duckman because. police bad to anomaly. and also because she thinks he might find out shes an anomaly. officer duckman is scared of emi because he knows somethings off, but isnt completely sure that shes an anomaly, just that something about her is sinister (and judging by how he acts if you turn barney in, he seems to be more of a cowardly/less brave officer imo, but thats just a headcanon, so i think hed be more easily scared). ok I think im done. yeah. oh and dr harlow doesnt rlly know her but emi may or may not steal glances at him whenever he's not looking. she thinks he cute and also thinks he may be an anomaly like her, so... yeah.
Emi also has boundaries when it comes to shipping!!
anything in the hate category, please do not make ship art of that. anything in the dislike can be made, but emi probably wouldnt enjoy it. anything meh is okay, im neutral about it. anything ok and up id enjoy a lot, especially Dr harlow x emi. oc x canon, oops (found this template and the other relationship template on pinterest. they are not mine.) they can be in polyamory or monogamous ships ^_^
they are also disabled, though i rarely mention it! this is just me projecting. i have a (now mostly invisible) physical disability in my leg and have had many surgeries for it, and have had to be in wheelchairs and walkers and relearn how to walk many, many times. (will talk about it if asked questions, me and emi's story of it are the same so ill answer in and out of character if anyone is curious. im used to the disability, I dont mind informing people.) its barely noticeable though unless I overexert myself, and I cant be as fast as id like to be due to my leg. so emi, while agile, does not have very high stamina and more enjoys lurking around because he cant go too fast due to his right leg, he is still disabled despite not looking like it. he can sometimes be seen using his three prehensile tails to keep himself upright if he's used his leg too much.
[note: 'sable' may be referred to throughout emi's blog. I personally headcanon that if secret agent had a name, it would be Sable...]
