For a long while I've been trying to come up with nicknames for the mouse pi for hire ships and so far here's the stuff I got

MagicBullet (I'm still really proud of this one)
MarkedDeck (a magician's card deck and also marked as in marksman like a gun man)
ShellGame (a magician's game and also shells as in bullet shell casings)
FemmeFatale (kinda self explanatory I'd feel kinda silly if I didn't add this one)
LightUp (both lighting a cigarette n also guns)
CoffinNail (old slang for a cigarette and also the dangers of both their situations)
AngelShot (the code word in a bar for 'I'm in danger' and shot as in a movie shoot)
BlueDahlia (the name of an old movie that became the namesake of the Black Dahlia murder case)
SpellBound (cuz magic n love tho this one)
BandelCarthy (saw this one from @nokoartz)
EscapeArtist (a type of magician and also cuz Viv vanished at the end)
Brownpepper (the name given to the ship by @molly-vb i think)
RedEye (old slang for whiskey and maybe a play on goldeneye)
BathtubGin (homemade booze aka bootlegging which John used to do)
PaperTrail (cuz paper and following leads is important to both their jobs)
WhistleBlower (a term used in journalism n investigating)
NewsReel (combining their professions journalism and tv)
Tabloid (drama newspapers cuz Viv is hella dramatic and i love that for her)
SoyMilk (i just thought this one was funny cuz Miles's name is based on milk)
MousePiece (a play on mouthpiece and mouse cuz of BMP)
