I recently won the opportunity to photograph actor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje for his latest wave of promo and publicity. This session was done while he was in Toronto, filming Suicide Squad. My approach to photographing Adewale was simple. Stay true to my no bullshit approach to making portraits. Keep it honest, keep it modest and understated, and let my subject be the star. That’s always been my approach to portraiture and i feel it worked perfectly with this set. Shot on location under natural light. Tis a new year and time to get back on my daily blog. For the next while I’ll be using this space to work out some visual ideas, tell some photo stories, teach you some how to’s and i’ll drop the odd video to keep you interested. It is of course a challenge to keep a blog going with Instagram out there in the universe but hey, before there was instagram, there was tumblr and shooters using tumblr to grow their community and spread propaganda.

What have I been working on? Streetwear, Portraits, Lifestyle and of course commercial work. I’ve spent some time on my website updating new work and reworking my categories. In the coming months this curation and tailoring will continue with new categories, portfolios and inspirations.
