Wildest dreams wishes for Good Omens Season 3/finale which will probably not come true but I can still hope hey!
I have a beautiful idea for the final moments of the finale, which I think would work far better visually than it would if I were to write it in a fic, so Iāll try to describe as best I can.
There is obviously not a lot of time in the finale, and I think one thing we have to expect is we wonāt get to see just how they get to live their lives together in their South Downs cottage. But what if there was a way to represent in a clever visual way? And in a relatively short period of time?
Picture a scene at the cottage. Itās morning, Aziraphale stands on the front porch drinking from his white angel wings mug. Crowley dressed in a long black silk robe pads up behind him, circles his arms around his waist and rests his chin on Aziraphaleās shoulders. They greet each other and speak about how they slept and wonder what theyāll do that day. Crowley decides āwhatever you like bestā and smiles. The camera then pans into the cottage and then a long unbroken tracking shot goes from room to room.
It starts in a sitting room with them simply sitting close to each other, Aziraphale reading, and Crowley sipping wine whilst lounging on the couch, their hands casually clasped together.
The camera moves to the next room, filled with plants, Aziraphale helps Crowley water them.
Onto the next room and itās the library full of books, but thereās also the old gramophone and theyāre dancing together and laughing.
In between the rooms as the camera continues on its way we get glimpses of pictures on the walls, the 1941 magic act, pictures with friends from Wickber Street, Crowley posing next to the Bentley, both smiling in front of the bookshop, and maybe even one of them together wearing nice suits with boutonniĆØresā¦
The shot now tracks to the back sitting room and they cuddle together on a large couch in front of a roaring fireplace, tartan blanket covering their laps.
The camera moves into the kitchen now, Crowley feeds Aziraphale some cheese, Aziraphale does that orgasmic face he does when eating and Crowley looks like heās going to pass out.
The camera shifts to a spiral staircase, Crowley leading Aziraphale by the hand up, and looking back with a wicked fondness.
The camera passes them on the steps then tracks past the doorway of their bedroom lingering for a moment so we catch a glimpse of them in bed together, Aziraphale on top, Crowleyās hand reaching up over his head and gripping the side of the headboard, as they kiss each other deeply.
The camera then moves down the small hall closing in on a window, passing more familiar items like the horse statue, the āwrestlingā angels, and other trinkets from Aziraphaleās shop. It tracks out the window and gives us a Birds Eye view of the top of an apple tree in the back garden and pulls down showing Crowley and Aziraphale sitting on a picnic rug. The camera pans down and stops on them where they have another short conversation about things being delightful. A clink of wine glasses, āTo usā, then another kiss, as the voice of God says āit started as it ends, in a garden.ā
Iām not sure how I can express how much I want this! Also if anyone has any bright ideas how I can effectively write this in a fic Iād love to hear it!
