what's the temperament of Bristol's critters like? do they have names?

YES! It's a male and a female. The male is named Buckeye and the female is Wisteria.

Temperament wise they're very chill, kind of like big cows that just want to hang out and watch the world go by. They've also been trained to be afraid of any other humans except for Bristol, so unfortunately they would run if anyone tried to get close. If they need to protect their handler for whatever reason though, they're very very scary

Love to be held: Neil is #1 even though he's embarrassed to admit it, the guy just loves a good cuddle and he's fucking great at giving them too. Jessi would be a close second, she's also a big hugs person. Do no touch: BRISTOL.. they hate being randomly touched/hugged with a fiery loathing

Normalize going into people’s ask boxes and ask them random ass questions.

Tumblr used to be so much fun with all the asks (anonymous or otherwise), and we need to bring those back, especially now that we finally have a half-decent blocking feature in place.

Ask people things! Message them! Don’t let tumblr inbox die! It’s one of the features that made tumblr tumblr.

If there is a story you wanna tell, but you don't think you will ever have the time or resources to organize and tell it ""properly"" as like...a novel or a comic or whatever, it can absolutely just be...a bunch of brain storm-y blog posts and sketches that you share and compile over time on your blog. That is still a story. It is still a format. In theory, it might not be the "best, most effective" format...but in practise, the best, most effective format is the one that is accessible enough to let you get your ideas and narratives out at all♡

And, yanno--it is just nice to be able to give folks some context for your characters n stuff :3c

Gosh I could drown y'all with all the REO-55 content I've got squirreled away in a secret discord server... BUT I'M ALSO VERY INVESTED IN BUILDING THE PROPER NARRATIVE I ENVISION

Bristol pondering things

I've been thinking a lot about going feral and just doing a rough sketch version of the REO-55 comic and uploading that just to get my brain going.... then going back and editing it for an "official" release later down the line.

Edit: my other hair brained idea is to do the whole story as storyboarded videos because I think more cinematically anyways.

THIS IS TECHNICALLY SPOILERS but it's cute and I wanted to share it anyways. More REO-55 comic stuff. Bristol and their critters as babies.

I keep saying to myself “I need to post more REO-55 sketches to tumblr” but then the thought of having to dig through all my sketch files is immediately so overwhelming it stops me from doing so
