Which is good.

However

Paramount also needs to push back the release date for this film if they’re going to fix it. Because redesigning Sonic and then going through the entire film to replace the old design is going to take time and effort. And that is all going to fall on the artists and animators. Not the director or the executives who pushed and approved that initial design.

Crunch time is an awful thing to force on and expect of an employee for the best games and films. For something like this, where the bare minimum of effort was put in to begin with? Definitely unearned.

If you want your workers to fix your mistake, make sure you give them ample time to do so.
