She's calling for him.

He's not a boy, hasn't been for quite sometime - maybe even ever - but his throat aches and his eyes swell before spilling over. Gods, what a mess his heart makes.

Her voice calls out again, more familiar to him than his own skin, more beloved than all the riches he has broken glass and jaws for. She's calling for him, and he doesn't have the power, doesn't have the strength necessary to pretend that he didn't hear. That he doesn't know.

Those moments that meant something to him, meant something to her, too.

Nights like this are made for confessions, and before her is more of a confessional than he deserves.

I just recently finished reading a manga where I 100% thought the first male lead was going to end up with the main character. They were so cute together and it was looking good for them . It looked like they would be end game. BUT THEN boom.

It.didn’t.happen.

I was aware that the second male lead had feelings for the main character but he hadn’t told her anything. He was always there for her when she needed him, without him ever asking for anything in return. He even kept his distance and helped her out a little with the 1ml. (See where I’m going?)

Then the 2ml and main character ended up together. (It was adorable, they were both so happy, even the 1ml was happy for them).

When I finished the manga I immediately thought of Obi and Shirayuki. I was like wait, SO THIS IS POSSIBLE. NOW I WILL NEVER BACK DOWN FROM OBIYUKI. RAHH 🦅🦅
