Does the constant anons messaging about how a figure is problematic ever get frustrating? I've noticed it happening alot more recently and it seems like you are deleting a post or two a week, more that honestly. You can always acknowledge the issues or controversies without deleting a figure if you chose to(however there is certainly some media that we don't want to spread and understandably delete the figure post.) Every anime has its fair share of problems, im worried it's eventually going to be everyone wants you to delete everything because they don't like it or find an issue with it
it does get frustrating but i don't feel frustrated towards the anons, just the problematic media. i guess sometimes i do feel disappointed when i like a figure and my followers seem to like it too but then i "have" to delete it.
i really get what you're saying and i know i don't actually Have to delete a post. i just find it difficult to draw the line. i find it difficult to ignore or disagree with a message like that without sounding like i support the problematic thing.
i actually hesitated with the attack on titan figure the other day cause i used to be a very big aot fan before realising its very serious flaws but part of me still loves the characters and loves their figures. i just hate the thought of the person who sent the ask seeing that i ignore it and thinking "hm. well guess they hate jewish people" or whatever which is very much not true. i'd rather delete a figure and have people think i'm a snowflake than leave it up and have people think i hate a minority or some shit like that.
either way i will only delete a post if the accusation is serious (however i won't be watching an entire show to fact check so i kinda have to believe anons and google).
