🐺 — “Just in time for Dolton jr."
🐺 — “Hey there Miller."
❆ ;; — “She’s back, ain’t tha’ somethin’?”
🐺 — “Yeah, yeah it is."
♛ ;; — “Wyatt.”
⊰ “You look much better.”
🐺 — “You too."
🐺— "Show off."
🐺 — "Hey."
♞— She ran her nose along Wyatt’s own, rubbing her hands over his back and appreciating the proximity of the two. IT was unimaginable being away from Wyatt the way she had the past few… how long had it been? Gaia didn’t even know, her lips trailed over his moisture soaked cheeks as she attempted to calm him further, adamant she would never leave him again, it had been torture, watching him from afar and being unable to comfort him when he needed her most. She glanced up and nodded towards Eli, who quickly dismissed himself from the ordeal and rapidly exited the room. Her grasp, though, never faltered aroudn her love, instead she offered a series of reassuring hums in response to his question, a small giggle parting her lips though it was incredibly half-hearted. “I love you, I love you, I’m so sorry, Wyatt… I love you so much”
🐺— A stuttering breath of exhaustion fled Wyatt's parted lips, as the sensation of Gaia's caresses caused for his hairs to stand upon end. Merely grateful for the pair's affectionate exchanges despite his disorientation preventing all rationality from surfacing. For months previous, he had experienced again and again, the deceitful sensation of what he had hoped where his loves caresses. Time and time again, had he heard her voice, breathed in her alluring scent and even sworn, he could feel her. There would be no hope of survival, if this turned out to be yet another plague of his subconscious. Yet as the moments proceeded to pass, the brunette grew more so susceptible toward their reality. His stunning hues, ripened with stern beads of moisture as he gazed helplessly into the breathtaking orbs of Gaia's own, "I need you."
♞— His hands clung to her and she appreciated the close proximity of her and her love, hoping never to be parted from him again, but knowing she would have to nonetheless. That was the most heartbreaking thing as she pressed her lips against his moisture laced cheeks, her arm curled around him as she attempted to soothe him further, her other hand still cared around Eli’s hand, a small shrug of her shoulders all she was able to offer as she buried her features into Wyatt’s brunette locks. She hated how he was feeling, she haed that she was the cause, she hated that neither were able to cope without each other and now this was their punishment for caring so deeply about one another. “I’m so sorry,” She murmured repeatedly..
It was then that something caught her eye, a figure in the corner of the room that was entirely unfamiliar, a brunette woman who seemed to look on at their scene with such grief. “Who are you?” She murmured, to which the woman responded with a small smile, ‘I am the reason you will be with him again, make my son happy,’ Gaia stared wide eyed, before her eyebrows creased together, “You’re… his mom?” She whispered, but she received no answer, at least, no verbal response, just a smile as the woman disappeared. “I’m… I.” A squeal escaped her lips, “Wyatt” She beamed through tear laced hues, throwing herself forward and curling her arms around her neck. A sob crossed with a giggle sounded between them, “Yes…Yeah, it’s… I’m here.” She glanced up towards their friend, nodding her head as she tightened her grip around Wyatt.
⊰ Staring at the girl with a confused expression, Eli had no idea what was happening or why he was intruding on this moment between the couple, or why Gaia was now nervously staring into the distance.. The male’s lips thinned as he leant back slightly, almost perfectly timed as Gaia lunged forward, and he chuckled. Tilting his head, he glanced down at the girl, unable to prevent the smile on his lips until finally her eyes found his own, confirming his questions. “I… will be back in a moment.” He lifted himself up and moved form the room, needing a moment to compos himself and knowing Ophelia needed to see Gaia again before the girl became even more so unhinged than she already was.
🐺—As could only be expected, Wyatt refused to enable his love flee from his attentive grasp, as his tanned digits clung to the girl with excessive possession. Mere need, communicating itself entirely throughout their current embrace as the brunette trembled restlessly within the arms of his love. Somewhat continuously plagued with unnerved disbelief, as his stunning hues subconsciously wavered beneath the strain of moisture threatening to exploit his vulnerability. As still, the boy remained uncertain as to how or why, the pair had again been reunited and more so, unaware of both his mothers untimely passing and her part to play, within his and Gaia's reunion.
"Tell me you're okay... please". Such murmurs communicated themselves with more so weakness than desired. With a subconscious raising of his head, the wolf attempted to glance toward Eli within urgent request for a degree of clarification, as again his grasp merely proceeded to tighten around the girl. "You came back. God, I love you. I love you."
♞— Gaia continued to offer her full support to the male, herarms curled around his trembling frame as she pressed a series of tear soakedkisses against his flesh. “Shh,” She hummed softly, bowing her forehead againsthis own as she attempted to soothe his ravaged feelings. “I’m so sorry, Wyatt.”She repeated on a loop, her digits curling into his clothes as she desperatelysought comfort from him, just as he sought it from her. Her chest ached, herstomach felt as though a hole had appeared and was hell bent on tearing herapart, had it not been for the pressure of him against her. With Eli’sentrance, Gaia’s eyes shot upwards, blinking away further tears she offered asaddened smile, continuing to caress her love in a soothing nature. “Eli,” She murmured, her voice breakingeven further.
Staring at him, then glancing down towards Wyatt, she restedher chin against his head, her lips trembling and threatening to release yetanother sob. All she could offer was a shake of her head, “I – don’t know how,Wyatt.” She whispered finally, returning her gaze to the Samuel warlock, adesperation behind her eyes for at least his understanding. ‘Help me’ shemouthed, reaching her hand upwards to hold Eli’s own, even if he couldn’t feelit… even if it wasn’t the same, she still wanted to offer some comfort to himtoo.
⊰ Eli stared wide-eyed, his hand automatically lifted, restingon Wyatt’s back. He wanted to assure him that Gaia was in fact here, that hewas not imagining it, but he didn’t want to get Wyatt’s hopes up, if this wassome sort of trick, of the spirits on the grounds, or if it was a simple iamge, offered to Wyatt in a time of need, he couldn’t comprehend how much worse hewould be… The aftermath of being almost reunited with his love was bound tohave a greater toll on him than losing her with no means of saying goodbye.Instead, Eli remained frozen in his position, staring at Gaia as she offeredtender comfort towards her love – it wasn’t possible, she couldn’t be here… If he hadn’t been able to findher, then who had?
Her hand extended in Eli’s direction and though he washesitant due to his deep-rooted nature, he responded by grasping her digitsbetween his own. He could feel her… Asigh escaped his lips, “Gaia.” He stated yet again, but now in confirmation, hecouldn’t feel ghosts, nobody could. “Howis it? What… Where are you?” He mumbled, leaning forward and placing his handon her shoulder, bewildered as to how any of this was possible. “Are you – ?”
🐺— Given the subtle compression applied between his shoulder blades from the warlocks touch, Wyatt visibly relaxed between the presence of his family, as his stunning hues eventually revealed themselves once more. Somewhat childlike within his gaze, as he peaked over toward his love's breathtaking features, through his dampened lashes as a stuttering breath of lacking certainty persisted to flee his burdened lungs. "Is this real?"
The sincerity of helplessness etched into the dramatics of his tone was a burden too grave to bear. No longer would he continue to attempt surviving without Gaia, for now he knew of her love it was an element he merely refused to lose. As moments passed, the brunette gradually began to regain some degree of apparent composure as his digits refused to falter around the material of Gaia's clothing. Grasping with an element of urgency, as he remained enclosed within the girls possession, as she was within his own. Eagerly awaiting for the young witches response, toward Eli's own inquisitions.
♞— As he finally seemed to regain consciousness, Gaia let out ayelp of joy as she tugged him closer to her frame, her embrace on him tight asshe refused to let him go. Her heart pounded in her chest, threatening toshatter the cage of her bones that protected it, a world without Wyatt was nota world Gaia ever wanted to imagine. Continuing to press her moisture lacedlips against his ivory flesh, she refused to allow the moment to be ruined, “No, no.” She repeated in a hushed tone, her fingers pushing through his brunette locks as she clung to himcontinuously. “You’re not dead, you’re not…” She shook her head, swallowing herwords, not daring to repeat what she has just said, the words were enough tobring bile in her throat. “Wyatt, don’t you ever…” She continued to whisper, asthough any louder would disturb the sudden peace of the room now that he hadwoken.
Leaning backwards, she brushed away her tears with the backof her hand, before shifting her touch to either side of his jaw, forcing himto look at her, “Never ever do that toyourself.” She growled, now a little angrier than before, “I have neverleft your side, I promise… I’ve always been here.” She hated that from thismoment they’d have to part again, in fact, he shouldn’t have even been able tofeel her touch, but she clung to him regardless – perhaps it was hisdisorientation, his simple need tofeel her and so he did, whatever the reason, she’d hold onto this moment for aslong as possible, despite it hurting both of them in the long run. “I’m so sosorry, I never wanted to hurt you.”
⊰ Eli had been cautious around Wyatt, somewhat reluctant toleave him on his own due to his unhinged state. He understood the heartbreak Opheliaand Wyatt were enduring, in fact, he experienced some of it himself, he cravedGaia’s companionship – he’d cared for the girl, and perhaps she had been right, all the times she had attempted to convince him that he liked her. Whatever thereason, with her missing, he felt… hurt, constantly, and no amount of lives he took seemed to ease that discomfort. He had tried, endlessly, searching for Gaia amongst the dead, hoping that he would eventuallyfind her in order to bring her back, not only for Ophelia and Wyatt, but alsofor himself. But today, like every other day had been unsuccessful and bothhimself and Ophelia had finally came to the conclusion that they would need togo to the Other Side in order to retrieve their companion – it would bedangerous, fatal even for some people, if not themselves, but he would do it,there was no doubt in his mind about that.
Returning to his dorm now, he hoped to wrack his brain forsome sort of excuse to offer to Wyatt today, as he had every other day, but heknew that Wyatt was slowly losing hope and thatwas terrifying to view. Opening the door to the familiar space, his eyesfirst latched onto the rope hanging from the ceiling, the chair on its back inthe middle of the room. “Wyatt!” Hegrowled, stepping into the room, but upon doing so, he noticed his friend’sframe on the floor, and he was not alone. Rounding the side of his friend’sbed, his hues now rested upon his companion and… Gaia. He gulped, “Gaia?” His voice shook slightly as he movedcloser to them, slowly lowering himself onto his knees before the girl and her fiancé.“Gaia.” He repeated, a hint of hopein his tone.
🐺— Within his continuing instability, Wyatt had managed to allow a sob urge from his parted lips, as his head remained within the hands of his love. His vision, now blurred from the offered moisture, as the sensation of the other's palms against his cheek was all too familiar. Yet he feared allowing for himself to believe she was truly within his embrace, would only make him a desperate fool, as his masculine figure continued to tremble against the other with each heartbreaking sob.
Despite craving too, Wyatt hadn't noticed the interruption offered by Eli as the warlock urged forth toward the heinous commotion. The brunette, remaining feeble within the young witches embrace, as his slender digits clung to her with a harrowing desperation. No matter how hard the male fought to regain some degree of composure, his trembling torso refused to offer an element of aid as Wyatt's helpless hues gazed toward those of his love. Each plead, merely repetitive within his devastation as eventually, he begun to acknowledge Eli's own pleads, with excessive confusion, "Please come back to me. Please, just come back".
♞— Every day spent invisible to the eyes of those she loved washeart-breaking. Gaia had completely underestimated her importance to hercompanions and baring witness to their discovery of her death was the one thingshe had never hoped to see on them. As each day passed, both Phe and Wyatt weregrowing more impatient, desperate even and a lack of sleep and harrowing stresswas taking its toll on them physically and emotionally. It hurt Gaia, more thanshe ever thought possible and seeing Wyatt in his despair was enough to driveher insane. Most nights she’d enter his room, unseen of course and remain athis side, not daring to touch him, but hoping that her presence, no matter ifshe was dead, would be enough to comfort him in his grief – but it never was.The girl craved to be reunited with her love, she wanted to be with him, to doall the things that they had planned but it just wasn’t possible anymore andshe couldn’t have him wasting his time with her, when she would never leavethis place. Her apologies fell on deaf ears, but she meant each and every oneof them, those to Wyatt, those to Phe, Eli, Olly… everyone she had met, everyone she had touched, and everyone that she had loved. A mantra was on repeat in her mind, to show herself would beto hurt them even more and she couldn’t bear to witness it all over again.
Today had been her first day away from Wyatt, he seemedsomewhat calm, still obviously heartbroken but calm and she hoped that it meanthe would be moving on, or at least, dealing with her death rather than focusingon it. She had went to see Oliver, to see how he was coping, to see if he wasusing her death as an excuse to fall back into his abusive habits – but somethingfelt off. Something was drawing her back to Wyatt and his room and at first,Gaia presumed it was her love for him, her desperation to ensure that he wasokay. Twisting her engagement ring around her finger, she had never felt morelove for another individual before Wyatt, and she loved him more than anythingin this world… That was why she wanted him to move on from this, to be happy, even if it meant him forgetting her completely. However, the further the girlmoved down the corridors, the more anxious she became, she grew fearful – but forwhat reason, she didn’t know.
The closer she got to him, the harder her heart pounded andsoon enough, the witch had took to running towards her love’s room. Coming toan abrupt stop in front of his room, Gaia didn’t bother to be quiet, or to hesitate, she burst through his door and her view was something so horrific, shescreamed. “Wyatt!” Leaping forth, thegirl cared nothing for her concentration on not showing herself, instead shegrasped the nearest sharp object and jumped onto Wyatt’s bed, cutting the ropeand falling downwards as he did. Scrambling towards his frame, she pulled hishead onto her lap and began running her fingers through his hair, “Look at me!”She sobbed, “I’m here, I’ve always beenhere.” She whispered.
It was that moment that the girl instantly felt a sharppulling sensation from deep within the pit of her stomach, she ignored itthough, much too focused on him to care for the pain she was in. It wasstrange, though, and even as she pressed tear-soaked kisses to Wyatt’sforehead, the witch could still feel it – whatwas happening?
🐺— Within his refusal to allow death the satisfaction to mock him, Wyatt's twitching frame merely jolted with an abruptness as his stunning hues flooded with moisture. Already, incapable of mustering breath as the rope mere tightened around his pulsating throat, causing for his focus to waver unsteadily from himself and immediately falter toward his lost love. For now as his onyx hues gradually concealed themselves beneath labouring lids, he felt nothing of fear nor physical pain as the anticipation to see her, to embrace her was more than enough to carry any individual through such a harrowing death. A death, in which Wyatt could only welcome now.
As his masculine frame began to fall more so reliant upon the gravitational tug of the rope, Wyatt finally felt at somewhat ease with the situation. His previously clenched digits had now relaxed beside his embodiment and whilst the remaining oxygen attempted to circulate with little avail, the wolf eventually lost consciousness. Almost, peaceful as his stunning features remained concealed beneath their moisture and his head hung forth within submission.
Within his current unconscious state, he was unaware of Gaia's current presence. He had little knowledge of her having free'd him from his conditional binds and even as his masculine frame collided with the stern flooring beneath - he proceeded to offer lacking signs of life. All, however until moments later as a barbarous wheeze urged from the wolves fragile lungs and his entire frame writhed within the lap of his love, as his pale digits subconsciously rose toward the girls knee. Still, within a state of severe disorientation as his trembling limbs clung to the slender own of Gaia. Within his desperation to again regain breath, Wyatt wheezed within the lap of the other as his deprived lungs fought to again, regain some degree of composure. The brunette, feeble entirely within the attentive embrace of the other, as eventually, given the desperation within himself to recognise the all to familiar tone, a meek whimper proceeded to surpass with less than hope, etched into his weakened tone, "--- G-Gaia? did I.... did I do it?.... I'm dead"
🐺 — The fabrication of the rope felt foreign beneath Wyatt's dismissive grasp as the stern material grazed his now eagerly healing flesh. Despite his reluctance, he had surrendered hours beforehand to the moisture, delicate to caress each prominent cheekbone as their relentlessness refused to falter. As mere days before such moments should occur, had the wolf heard of Eli and Ophelia's plan to go to Gaia - yet perhaps their suggestion had been all too clumsy, for the wolf to overhear as he had decided with certainty, that he would in fact join his love within death. For without her, there was nothing he desired to live for. Gaia, was within every mannerism a lifeline.
With a restless tug and merciless fastening of the rope, Wyatt found himself subconscious to begin fastening the noose. Ever since the events of the carnival, he had remained at such a loss for his capability to commit a replicating act, as his brother had years beforehand - however now it appeared within fitting irony.Having already proceeded to climb atop of a stool, the rope hung above him as little but mere emptiness fuelled his stunning hues. So helpless, within his despair as his digits refrained from their tremble - for again.... he felt nothing within himself, but an ever prominent sensation of anguish.
For he could understand it now. The severity of his mothers sadness, after losing someone she loved more than any other. At the time, he expressed no warrant for jealousy, he cared little for the fact that his brother was cherished more... for he had always known. Yet he had never understood how even with other children dependent upon her and a life that required living, how his mother could give up on them..... he had never understood, until losing Gaia.
When you lose the one you love most, be it a child, a lover... a platonic relation, they are your life and without them, you feel nothing but a replication of pain day in and day out. Pure and utter misery should prevail and it was a sensation he could no longer stand. With the rope now secured around his neck - already a distinct restriction, Wyatt withdrew a mere breath of lacking hesitation as a whisper proceeded to flee his lungs, "I’ll find you. I always will" as his sneakers eventually kicked free from the stool and his masculine frame urged forth with a harrowing jolt...
