Leonid Afremov,

is a Russian Israeli modern impressionist artist that I found recently, I did not know his work but  his is extraordinary and the perfect combination of my work WINDOWS AT NIGHT with rain reflection and WET FLOOR also with reflections.

Edward Hopper is one of the painters who have inspired the mood of my work, from the series ‘night windows’ he describes the feeling of representing the loneliness in the middle of a city full of people. I love his paintings and for me is something very difficult to describe that emotion although I still keep the word NOSTALGIA in me head.

The grid project,

for this project the idea is to look at different types of grid as man-made or in the natural environment, to create a structure or pattern. As a starting point I chose windows at night, the only problem for me was the color, I needed to find the right colors, so I divided the project in two parts, the structure from the windows at night- as a grid, and the reflections of the rain in the windows- as a mood.
