It’s awful for Jasmine love her, want her to heal from her issues and find someone she can let in properly, but let’s not pretend she hasn’t hurt Oscar too. He defended her so many times to people, she lied constantly to him and is it awful it’s her twin brother? yes, but imagine the hurt he felt when she lied about his dad trying it on with her and causing issues in an already fractured relationship, all the Anthony stuff hurt him badly but Josh turned up and literally brought his spark back. Oscar and Jasmine is all about her, it’s one sided it’s mainly her and her stuff, where as with Josh it’s very much equal and they can both talk to each other and comfort each other, be there for each other. Oscar hasn’t had the best up bringing either, and as for Josh he can’t be blamed for being the favourite that wasn’t his fault he shouldn’t be blamed for adults decisions. But it’s just similar to what’s currently going on, the Slaters are only bothered about Jasmine despite Zoe screaming for months she wants to find her son, the whole birthday dinner wasn’t even planned for both of them they’ve not made much effort with him.

Oscar can be an idiot but I will say comparing him to Max is wild because Lauren’s the most like him and has been for years, Oscar’s an 18 year old who hasn’t had much stability in his life or male influences to show him the way. Lauren was the one who had a full blown affair with a married man splitting up a family, she then slept with her best mates partner a couple years ago splitting up yet another family, and she’s literally about to have an affair with Mark which splits up another family and affects her own kids. She’s been cheating for years, and I’m not saying Peter’s treated her the best at times but he’s put up with a lot over the years from her and he’s always forgiven her. She was massively affected by Max’s affair with Stacey and she exposed it that year at Christmas, and their family hasn’t been the same since that all her siblings came from broken homes and she’s done the same to other people’s kids and about to do the same as her own. The difference is Oscar genuinely feels bad, he fell for someone and he wanted Josh before knowing who he was. He wanted more than a one night stand, that can’t be helped and he’s tried his best to stay away from him but he can’t help who he falls for. He’s not gone out of his way to hurt her on purpose, and she hasn’t exactly made things easy for him either. Oscar finally has someone in his life where it isn’t a one way street, it’s someone who’s calm and not full of chaos, someone he listens to and comforts, but also someone she does the same for him. Josh gives him what no one has ever given him, he deserves that.

I will die on this hill that Oscar is more into men then woman and not a single person can ever convince me otherwise. Besides Jasmine, all his hooks up have been men, he’s always checking out men and the only time he flirts with another woman is when he’s on the stall which is literally just his selling technique 🥲. Besides that, it’s literally men that catch his eye apart from Jasmine, and even before he went to young offenders he had a girlfriend but fancied her dad more this isn’t his first rodeo, I think when it comes to Jasmine it’s just the excitement of how unpredictable she can be and the fun side he likes, apart from that I just don’t think they match because everything seems very much one sided and it’s mainly always about her, where as with Josh it’s two sided and they be there for each other when it’s needed which is something he’s lacked in life and a partner

Robert did a lot of sleeping around when he was younger it’s not impossible, and her playing she is 20-25 so it is defiantly possible because we wouldn’t have seen everyone he slept with.
