😳 This brought back to mind Christmas ‘24 when John was being all creepy and weird, (as usual) and told Aaron that he’d make a great STEPdad … not dad but stepdad, specifically. 🤨

So, let’s say John had a kid at 15/16, that would make the child 23/22…

The conflicting emotions they’d feel with John’s daughter would be so interesting. Because they won’t want anything to do with him, but at the same she’d be family and she’s not responsible for what her Dad’s done so I think it would be so interesting. The way Kev is the type of person Lewis or Nicola DO NOT need and yet that’s who they are stuck with. This isn’t prison. He’s not their only option for a friend or support. He certainly doesn’t have the emotional capacity to be.

Exactly that. And I’m not being funny but Kev supporting Nicola out of everyone makes no sense to me. She stopped him telling Lewis who he really was and we know how petty he can be when things don’t go his way, Kev would never support someone who’s done that. And as for Nicola she literally has friends and family in the village that can support her. Laurel being the main one since she’s also been a widow with children and lost her husband, she out of everyone can understand what Nicola’s going through and their literally best mates.

Lewis isn’t the most appearing character, but he has friends and family on the show he could turn to for things not Kev. Kev couldn’t change in the 23 years he was in prison, or when he got out he’s ended up back there so why suddenly would change? Makes no sense you’d think a 23 year prison stretch would change someone. It’s just not believable

Literally and always says “nobody wants this” about Mack when they actually do. Always says give people want they want and put Vanity back together, 3 people want that most the audience don’t even like Vanessa 😂

I didn’t watch. What plotty reason did Moses have a birthday party for? So Charity can pretend everything is normal when it isn’t? To drive a Ross/Laurel plot?

Im very 50/50 on Chas because sometimes I like her, other time I hate her but people going after her for how she is with Charity clearly need to watch the show because it’s not as if she actually knows what’s happened to her and still treating her that way. She’s going off information she knows which Charity is 100% the bad guy in.

You can have a favourite but still admit they’ve messed up which Charity 100% has and shouldn’t escape consequences because of what happened to her, because this storyline was going 10 months before her ordeal so the doctor has nothing to do with her pain Charity’s going to cause when the truth comes out. Sexual assault doesn’t mean a person should get away with being a shitty person, because that’s one of the main problems with the Dingles in general everything is excused because of trauma when 99% of the time their actions literally have nothing to do with their trauma, their just shitty people who are fully grown adults and still acting like kids.

And yes this is aimed at the saddo who makes the placards like the characters can see if and are going to hope on social media half way through an ep and see them then decide to exit because someone’s told them to F off on a placard.

Speak your truth, honestly it’s just so sad. And that whole bully group in general, I’ve seen people scared to post their opinions because they get jumped by them, emmerdale just needs to start blocking their accounts from seeing/commenting on their posts.

They’re actually really annoying me and I’m so sick of them, they make the whole Emmerdale fandom look bad. Their literally bunch of 30 odd year olds who bully people and get a kick out of it, if I was them I’d be more ashamed of myself and find myself more pathetic then anyone. I’ve had people give me opinions on anon scared of being attacked if they posted their opinions, the other week they were literally all going at one person for an opinion calling her mental and saying she’s on day release all because she shared a different opinion they really are toxic af.

And when you look at some of the stuff they repost you have to laugh, because it’s literally what they do on a daily basis. Even Emmerdale insider posting Charity villian of the week for doing something before she even got sexually assaulted, got told to shut up and give it a rest. Bullies the lot of them and they seriously need to get a life how bad they go after people over fictional characters. Sad woman with no lives

Are those rotten cows attacking Gabby now? First Jacob and now Gabby are called pathetic but it's all poor Cain and poor Charity who are the biggest whiners on the show.

They’re so annoying, they really see everyone as the bad person apart from Charity and Cain when those two are probably the two most toxic characters on the show and forever cheating on their partners. Gabby’s a young woman who’s had terrible relationships with men, and you don’t need a brain cell to work out what story they’re telling here. She’s clearly gone through a lot with men, Jamie, Kit, Nicky, Vinny and she’s in a position where she feels like she’s the problem and feels very insecure about herself. Almost everyone can relate to her on that front, and this is why when they post about mental health I don’t feel bad for them because anyone who can make fun of someone or label them pathetic for struggling with themselves clearly isn’t someone who knows what it’s like.

Did you like Aaron with Jackson like I know he was Aarons first bf but I don't think they would have lasted if the accident didn't happen I felt Jackson just told Aaron what to do most of the time and I don't think there was any chemistry and to similar

It’s such a huge part of his history and think that truly made him who he is today alongside other things, but I’ll be honest never saw the chemistry and it came across to me as Aaron genuinely couldn’t do anything right with him 😂 But for his first gay relationship, I think it was alright but I just struggle to find him having chemistry with anyone but Robert I feel like it just isn’t there I don’t know if it’s been done on purpose but they really hire actors who don’t have the chemistry with him apart from Ryan, he had more chemistry with Adam and Mack

Well i'm of the opinion that we can have a Robert secret kid and an Aaron secret kid, except we'd need to slaughter a few Dingles first to thin their numbers to make it possible.

In fact let's have them be a male and female and couple them up, now that would be a wild story. Aaron's son and Robert's daughter dating.

They definitely need to slaughter Dingles before bringing in anymore, but the thought of an older child is so funny to me and I feel like whoever they did it with it would be so funny 😭 Those two are used to raising a baby, and a teenager but that was Aaron’s sister a sibling and a kid are two totally different things it genuinely makes me laugh at the thought of it HAHA

Moses getting a little birthday party thrown for him...Robert has been severely robbed! So many getting characters getting birthday mentions and they just skipped over one of the most important ones.

Even though I don’t think this will be it, I have to agree with you there because it’d be very interesting seeing how it would all go. Robert would never want anything to do with John again, but then I also don’t think he’d want to blame her for what’s happened and he’d very huge on family so seeing how conflicted he is would be very interesting. And seeing how Aaron handles it when he’s moved past it all but might feel he has a duty to her would also be quite interesting

Unpopular opinion but someone having a different option or wanting things to happen you don’t isn’t that deep, doesn’t make them dumb or anything like that. And I won’t lie, the theories anyone comes out with is 100% better then what the writers actually produce so I think any opinion and story people want should happen because it sounds a lot better then what we currently get. Fans have better ideas then the producers and the writers, I’ll die on that hill

We might be pretentious but at least we're not dumb enough to think a random love child Robert neglected would result in an interesting and satisfactory storyline. He was abused by his husband for years in prison and somehow that plot was shit and a joke. Like use your brain, how would it actually be shown day to day on the show? Would you all actually be happy with the choices they made?

I really hope you’re not telling me to use my brain, because mine isn’t in the best condition right now so using my brain is a struggle most the time 🙃😂.

It doesn’t matter the storyline they do with Robert. He’s always painted as the bad guy. And also, a random child coming in doesn’t automatically mean the child was neglected by him. Cain and Nate are a prime example of that, Nate felt that way but Cain didn’t actually know about him to neglect him. They could easily write it as him never knowing about the kid, because considering who he was and how he used to be it’s not far fetched that someone would keep a child a secret given he was very selfish years ago and didn’t care about anyone but himself and them not wanting someone like that involved in the kids life.

I don’t really care if either of them had a kid show up or not, people have a right to an opinion on who should get a long lost kid I don’t think their wrong either way. But I think people want it more for Robert because he doesn’t have as many people as Aaron. Aaron has many family members, friends so if they broke up he wouldn’t be alone. Robert has Vic, she’s not even around but when she is 99% of the time doesn’t take his side. So yes, I can see why people would want it more for Robert than Aaron. But that doesn’t mean I think people are wrong for wanting it for Aaron either given there’d be a story there with the gene

And you know whilst we’re on the subject of pathetic, it’s pathetic that not that long ago four of you jumped on an elderly woman attacking her just because her opinion wasn’t the same as yours. It was pathetic because she didn’t share the same views she was called mental and being told she was on day release. It’s pathetic to scream about mental health, then laugh at someone who was having a panic attack and calling them useless. The list is literally endless of all the pathetic things that have you come from you and your crew of bullies.

I’m no fan of Gabby, but calling her or any character pathetic no matter the situation is actually pathetic. Gabby’s a young woman who hasn’t yet had a positive experience in relationships. Her last two were gay, she got pregnant by Jamie and she was left as a single Mum at a very young age to raise a child, yes she’s had help but no woman gets pregnant and expects to be the only parent. Then there’s Kit who was seeing both her and Laurel. She thought Ross liked her, of course with so many bad experiences it was going to affect her eventually because any woman in her situation would start to think it’s them that’s not good enough and struggle thinking it’s their looks or their weight and think they need to change something for a man to genuinely think their good enough. Many woman go through this, and it’s actually disgusting the comments are coming from fully grown woman.

And this isn’t the only time it’s happened. Jacob was called pathetic and told to get a grip because he was being bullied by his own boss, because for some reason the show and a lot of the audience struggle to comprehend that men can also be victims in situations. But the second Charity was being blackmailed over a situation she’s 100% to blame in the same people were seeing her as a victim as they have done throughout the whole baby storyline. It’s pathetic a woman can’t argue with her partner without needing to jump into bed with someone else something she’s done to numerous partners, but those people aren’t ready for that conversation. Some Robert fans seem up themselves and pretentious. Some of us love Robert, we’re also know we are watching a soap not a gritty drama on channel 4. We want him on screen and to have entertaining storylines. That’s all you can hope for your fav on a soap!

Very true. It’s soap, cheap drama happens and we have to accept that but doesn’t mean people are wrong for what they want from the character or that they don’t care about him. At this point I think fans will take any storyline for him just to have him on screen, and the whole kid debate is being made into such a big issue. God forbid people want Robert to have more people in his life then just a partner and a sister who 99% of the time doesn’t take his side
