thinking about 17 year old me and how excited for life i was and how i thought the future would be better and happier and full of friendships and opportunity and thinking i would make up for all of those lonely highschool years spent with my dad eating lunch in the library office but here i am at 25 worse off probably and all i can think about is her and how deeply sorry i am after working so hard and fighting so hard i really think she deserved something better even just a few friends to celebrate her birthday with at least i had hoped that much for her by now
