I rarely get political here…

But, I’m heartbroken. I’m angry. And I’m fucking scared.

Last night the verdict for the Gerard Stanley trial came back and he was found not guilty. Except, this not guilty verdict is not at all just. He’s guilty - just white supremacy reigns.

I’m mourning the loss with his family. I’m resisting with my community. I’m hugging my son just a little closer. And, I’m watching which so called allies are silent.

Our lives are important. Our lives have value. Our lives are worth more than property.

There is no justice on stolen land. This is not reconciliation.

Bento or 便當 Some images from my storyboarding class. None of the images are toned except for the final panel at the end. A 2 minute short about  4 members of a family and their experiences regarding their bento as immigrants.

My first proper go at character modelling. The previous had been more about learning the ins and outs of Zbrush and human proportion. Minor issues with the shirt, skin weights in the hair and glasses that can be easily fixed. Also cannot render to save my life haha! All in all, I’m really proud and happy about it. Can’t wait to do Trial 2 for this character using Mari.
