imagine you and könig are off duty, and just so happen to vacay in the same country, and same hotel. König comes out of his room, ready to go meet up with horangi for some drinks, when he nearly pisses himself at the sight of you. But he can’t see that it’s you, since you thought it was a good idea to stay in the one spot of the hallway that had the worst lighting. All könig could see was the silhouette of you, like in the lovely drawing :3. “Hello könig” you call out, allowing him to exhale the breath he’d been holding once he realizes it’s just his freaky teammate. Making his way to you, he pats his chest and coughs, trying to play off how fast his heart is beating. “Guten abend. Why are you standing in the dark? Like that…?” He asks, his neck craning to meet your eyes, feeling uncomfortable not just with you staring at him all bug eyed again but also because he’s never really had to look up at someone, not until he met you.

“I heard you talking to horangi on the phone earlier,” You answer, “so I waited for you to come out so I can talk to you” königs lips turn into a tight forced grin “greaaat.. so what was it that you wanted to talk about?” He continues the conversation, gesturing you to follow him so that he doesn’t arrive late to the bar. “Would you like to hang out. Like what our team does.” You suggest, big ass eyes on him the entire time “oh! Ja uhm.. you wanna uhh.. come with me to the bar?”

Your eyes lift as you smile, something könig is sure he does NOT want to see right now.. just the eyes are enough to freak him out so he’s thankful for that giant scarf you’re wearing. “Lovely. I feel joyous.” “deutlich..” he whispers to himself.

Despite both könig and horangi being uncomfortable, and literally everyone else in the bar, you three have a really good time!! König learns a lot more about you from your very straight forward speaking. You don’t need to ask anything about him, you’ve been watching him when he sleeps after all!! /hj

What if… owl hybrid reader? Who is taller than könig?? AND EVEN WEIRDER THAN HIM???

Owl!reader who stands at 7’2 but has a slight hunchback from being screamed at for how “creepy” they looked, so they now stand 7’0. Their wings are bigger than they are though, nearly five inches bigger. They have big dark eyes, (but a small ring of color around the pupil for those of you with colored eyes) needing specialized sunglasses to help keep most of the light out of them.

So this is basically owl!readers posture

They are strictly kept at night time duties and missions, because obviously, they are an owl hybrid and being an owl hybrid means being nocturnal. Yes, you can absolutely function in the morning, but night is when you do your best.

The moment könig sees them, he’s immediately captivated. Finally!! Someone taller and freakier than him!! It takes a bit of time before the two of you get partnered up for a stealth mission though, but he’s over the moon once you guys are!!! But honestly though, how the hell are you two supposed to be stealthy?? probably the two tallest people on base going on a stealth mission.. what a joke.

The answer was simple. Get behind the enemy and snap their neck before they can scream. They two of you decide to stake out on top of a hill (very creative placement, right?) and wait for the go ahead.

König is a professional, so he won’t openly gawk and stare, but you do catch him occasionally glancing at you. Since really only he needs to keep an eye out while you listen, you decide to take the initiative in getting to know him!!

You stare him down with those big void eyes, no light shining through them so it looks like you’re silently putting a curse on him. You think you’re being friendly, like how your other teammates give silent gestures like nodding to other recruits or when people just look at each other and know what the other is thinking. He’s fucking terrified, thinking he did something to upset the hybrid. He can feel your eyes digging into his skull, not wanting to glance anymore just in case he’d “upset” you further.

“It is night.” You say, “non hybrids cannot see in the night, correct?” still not wanting to look at you, könig nods. “Then what were you looking at?” You get closer, watching him try to move away. “Bitte.. focus on the mission.” He tells you, getting uncomfortable with how perceptive you are.

Because I’m lazy and don’t wanna finish this properly, the mission goes well, aside from you going back to staring at him on the way back to base. He still admires you!! But he just learns to keep his distance, afraid of having that strange interaction again…

Cat dad könig who experiences heavy kitty paws for the first time ever while trying to take a nap after an exhausting workout. “Ah.. Hallo mein kleiner Engel.. would you like to nap with me?” Patting his chest because he remembers you telling him that this kitty in particular likes laying on chests.

The tiny cutie meows and hops on up the bed, rubbing up on your boyfriend. All is good, he’s lazily petting her, then she finally steps up on him. “oh mein gott for the love of everything cat just lay down” his voice strained as he tries his best not to move his chest too much.

After many biscuits were made and lots of repositioning, könig feels like he just battled a tiny gnome and is most definitely going to check his chest later on to see if any bruises bloomed.

Speaking of a shit ton of pillows to wash, you guys also have a shit ton of blankets to wash!! I mean come on, what’s a nest without blankets??

The blankets are the most time consuming. It’s not because there’s so many that you guys need to do multiple loads (actually yeah kinda), but it’s because there are so many with so many different washing requirements. Unlike the pillow cases where you can just chuck all of them in all at once, the blankets need extra care, different softener, detergent, water pressure, wash settings.. even drying it needs just as much care!! And don’t even get me started on the fluffy ones, having to brush them all out carefully so that they don’t become matted and flat, the newer fluffy ones leaving fluff lint EVERYWHERE and getting uncomfortable knots.

You make könig wash the blankets too, not that he minds because like I said, he loves you!! But that does mean that you need to put in some work too. So you brush out the lint and knots while he beats the other thick blankets filled with cotton to even it all out again.

It’s a nice bonding moment between you two!! And after all that work, you two finally get to lay back down on your guys’ bed, snuggling together and wishing each other sweet dreams… the next morning you guys wake up you see everything got thrown on the floor.

You guys know how whenever there’s food in VR games you try to eat it? König does that too. It’s like a requirement that everyone has to do whenever there’s food.

One time you walked in on him playing his newest game, we’ll say it’s job simulator, and since he had headphones on, he didn’t hear you come into the room. It’s a great game to eat food in! You can pick up the food, ACTUALLY eat it as your character makes chewing noises, and it disappears once you’ve bitten off enough!

Funnily enough, he also makes the chewing noises. “Kartoffel? Ja, okay. Om nom nom.. Plätzchen! Om nom nom!” “König what are-“ He drops the controllers and rips off the head seat “gott schatz! when did you come in??” Wide eyed with his hand over his heart that’s beating like the average bunny.

König who has to take all of the covers off of each of them one at a time to wash, then put them all back in their specific color and patterns so that both of them can grab the specific pillow they want for the night.

Why does reader have so many pillows? They wanted to build a nest. Why did they want to build a nest? Because nests are cool asf. Does könig ever get tired of this routine? Yeah definitely. But does he keep doing it because he loves you? Obviously <3

You and könig have been best friends for a while, now having moved in together just a few months ago. It was honestly amazing! Living with your best friend, hanging out every day, doing activities together that you wouldn’t be able to do with your schedules, etc

Just like many things you and könig have in common, you both also love reading fanfics! Now, while you don’t exactly mind whatever scenario the writers put you in, könig is very picky. He sees one that makes him shorter than his beloved? “Where’s a good fanfic with taller readers?” He sees one that makes him overly submissive “ah yes, because I moan at the most randomest things ever” he sees one that is very obviously a fem!reader but the writer put it as any “I just love having massive tits” he sees one that is also, very obviously oc x canon but is tagged as reader x canon “no, my name is not (a name that isn’t y/n or reader) and no, i do not have a petite body with roses blooming everywhere i walk”

Eventually you get tired of hearing him voice his opinions every two seconds while he scrolls on every app and website with fanfics of his favorite character that he can find, and tell him “why don’t you just write your own?” He looks at you flabbergasted, like you suggested he backflip onto a shark in a vat of acid and go down with it “nein!! Haven’t you heard of the curse? About how writers get into bad situation after they write fanfics?” He shudders at the thought “nein, no, нет, absolutely not”

At night, while laying in bed, staring at the ceiling, his thoughts are plagued with the possibility of him becoming a fanfic writer. He could make funny stories that he would have loved to read! Make the reader his height and his build, not make them overly sub or dom, not give them a name or physical description.. oh it sounds amazing!! But the curse… the writers curse always made him second guess. Oh well, it couldn’t hurt to try, right? And if anything did happen, he could just not right ever again!!

And that’s how he ends up writing his first ever fanfic! It doesn’t do so well, but he’s glad he tried! And then he gets run over by a semi truck doing 50 barrel rolls in the air before face planting in the concrete. JK JK nothing happens and he was just overreacting

You two have been talking about getting animals for months now, debating about whether to get a cat or a dog, maybe even a rat! It happened on a day when you had to work late. He had decided to go by himself and choose any cat that seemed good enough, as you had told him, “seeing all of those cats are way too sad! If I go there, I might end up buying out the entire place!”

It shouldn’t have taken long, should’ve just been in and out, but.. there was this cat you see, sad eyes, fluffy cheeks, laying down like it had already given up on trying to catch people attention. He needed that cat so badly, he couldn’t bear to leave it in this environment.

Turns out that cat was bonded with another one, the other was just in the back getting a little check up. So he decided then and there to adopt both of them, even without meeting the other. It doesn’t hurt to get two, besides, one for each of you!

Then.. oh boy, he walked around a bit more as these cats were getting ready for adoption and saw this super loud but scratchy voiced cat. It was the oldest in the humane society, and was one of the few that hadn’t given up a single day of meowing, knowing that there had to be someone out there to that loved them. It absolutely broke königs heart, and now suddenly he’s taking home three.

Finally he was going home, almost spent around a thousand dollars just on the toys and food alone. Hey, you can’t blame him though, this is his first time getting cats, and he’s already spoiling the ever loving crap out of them.

Now it’s your turn to see all of them. You come home all tired and worn out, ready to see whatever cute little kitty your boyfriend got! “König. What the fuck.” He looks at you in surprise, having been preoccupied all day building these extravagant cat trees for all of them, while surrounded by all three of them. They all got along pretty well! Thank goodness.. “schatz.. please don’t be mad! I couldn’t resist their gazes!”

Now you guys have three cutie patooties!! And könig maaay or may not have picked up a stray off the streets and couple days later and you guys maaay or may not have four now..

Feeling a bit sad today so here’s a sad with a happy ending fic

König x insecure!reader (should be any pov I think?)

Lately, you’ve been feeling a bit self conscious. Every time you look in the mirror, you look different. Bigger, slimmer, taller, shorter, hairy, smooth, cross eyed, 20/20 vision, etc. you just look.. weird

You don’t say anything because you feel like it isn’t that big of a deal. Besides, you’ve dealt with this before, so it isn’t anything new, you’ll overcome it, eventually. But.. there’s something about the way könig interacts with everyone. Despite being a giant walking brick wall who’s extremely awkward in any given scenario, he’s got a way of charming anyone that looks at him. I mean.. just look at him, a tall muscular guy who has the personality of anyone’s dream. Needless to say, it did NOT help you.

Every joke that he laughed at that wasn’t yours, every compliment that he gave that wasn’t directed towards you, every shoulder he gave to cry on that wasn’t your tears staining his clothes.. it just made you more and more self conscious.. maybe he’d be better off with someone else? Maybe he doesn’t need you? Maybe.. maybe…

Eventually it becomes too much, and one day, you just break down. It’s not loud, or grand, or even public. It’s in the safety of your guys home, in the living room, when you guys are playing games together. The thoughts just overwhelm you, and the sound of his voice just makes you recoil in a way that you never wanted. The first tear comes suddenly. Then the next, and then the next. And soon enough, you’re staring at a paused screen with shaky hands, königs arms wrapped around you asking what happened and if you’re okay. You obviously can’t respond because.. well, you’re crying a waterfall.

“Schatz? What’s wrong? Why are you crying?” He asks in a worried voice, concerned with the sudden change in atmosphere. Hm, actually, only sudden to him, as this has been building in you for the past week or so. You try to explain “You- those people- I can’t-!” Saying gibberish between breaths, before taking one deep gulp of air, letting it all out in a shaky sigh, almost as shaky as your hands “I just can’t take it anymore.. am I seriously the one you want? I see all of these beautiful men and women you talk to, how you treat them, how they treat you.. I’m not as..” you let yourself stop to think. Not as what? You don’t really know, all you know is that they aren’t you, and it hurts

“Look at me.” König raised his voice, not to scare or command you, but to bring your thoughts back to the present. “Believe me when I say, I love you and only you. Compared to you, these people are just background characters. Just noise, nothing else. I love and adore absolutely everything about you, I compare everyone to you just because I can’t get you out of my mind, sometimes it’s not even intentional, it’s just a habit that I’ve gotten used to. It’s almost impossible to go a single second not thinking about you, even when I’m with other people and on the field, you are what fills my mind. I love you, so so much.” He ends it all with a long kiss to your forehead

It’s been 3 months since that breakdown, and you’ve been feeling a lot better. König holds you a bit closer and tighter whenever he speaks to someone, never wanting you to feel less than ever again. <3

As someone with severe social anxiety, I can 100% relate to könig that my part of the social anxiety makes me very very awkward and uncomfortable whenever speaking to someone I don’t know.

Imagine, you and könig are just burnt out and overwhelmed at the end of the day, but still wanna get something special to treat yourselves. BUT, once you guys arrive to whatever food place you wanna go to, you run into a problem.. who the hell is going to talk to the server/cashier..?

You two solve this problem by-! Drum rolls please!! 🥁🥁🥁🥁 going home. You two ultimately decide to just go home and order on door dash or Uber eats, it’s easier that way. Sure, it’s a bit more expensive than just going out yourselves, but hey, who the hell wants human interaction outside of you two when you’re already tired as hell and just wanna eat? And plus, you guys can afford it, especially him.
