So who wants to entertain me
Always a pleasure, Cato.
Is that so, and here I thought you only liked me for my brains.
So who wants to entertain me
Is it finally time? || Cato and Glimmer
Glimmer heard the door to their back porch open and close and as soon as that happened she shot her head back, lowering her sun glasses under her eyes so she could see. He looked frustrated and that worried her. When he got frustrated he got violent and that was the last thing she wanted. Her heart fluttered as Cato’s shirt came off, you’d think that after you had been with him awhile his outstanding appearance wouldn’t faze you, but it did.
She tried analyzing his face more, nervous. He was nervous? Did she still make him nervous? Feeling overly confident in that she smiled widely. He came closer and sat next to her, she closed her eyes as he kissed her neck and then turned her body toward him. Tracing the right side of his face with her hand she spoke softly, “Baby, are you alright?” She asked utterly concerned.
Glimmer was watching him, seeming to be worried. Perhaps he had made himself too open with her, she being able to see the dismay displayed in his features. He took a deep breathe attempting to calm himself. He thought that training had prepared him for nearly everything life could throw at him. But apparently he had been wrong because he felt utterly out of his element, afraid to mess up what he had been building towards for the last few months.
He saw her draw in a breathe upon removing his shirt from his body, a confident grin overtaking his nerves. Knowing that no matter how long they had been together that neither of them would be over the initial awe of seeing just how beautiful they both were. He closed his eyes on her hands found his face, sending soothing relief along the course of his body. He opened his eyes, finally taking her in. "You look perfect."

Is it finally time? || Cato and Glimmer
Glimmer and Cato had a good week, no fighting, no violent fights between men that stared at her but just quality time with each other which is exactly what she had wanted. She was really happy now and she assumed Cato was too, now there was no more assuming she knew they were both happy and she wished for it to stay that way forever. She wasn’t second guessing herself anymore, she was insecure, Cato had really brought out the best in her. Any time she may have thought she was at her best; all seemed so small compared to now. He had brought her to district4, her favorite district by far; the beaches made her calm and the water made her relax. District 4 was her get away place, when she needed to be free from all the drama and lights and flashing from district 1. But now she had someone to come with her, whenever she needed to cool off or be comforted she always had him there, and he hadn’t left not once. She was overly confident in their relationship now, it seemed like a fairy tale, like her mother used to read to her and wish she could be that princess who fell in love and got married in her kingdom. Cato hadn’t gone home yet, he acted as if he wasn’t wanted there and she really wanted him to be reunited with his family, soon. As much as they may have shunned him from losing the games, he is still their son and everyone has a heart. Even in the cruelest of people there lies a single light inside of them telling them to be good. Truly Glimmer believed everyone was genuinely good at heart. Silly girl you’d say, but she just had bundles of hope, bundles that some can only wish for.
Glimmer and Cato had rented a beach house that came with the private beach in the back yard, expensive yes but so worth it. Glimmer laid on their temporarily private beach with her bright red biking feeling like the world was hers. Cato was inside he had suspiciously been in there for awhile, but Glimmer hadn’t noticed, she was too caught up in the stunning view of the ocean, and how amazing it was that she was on a private beach, with her loving boyfriend. She put on her sunglasses and just gazed happily into the ocean.
Cato had been dating Glimmer longer than any girl he had ever met. Usually he kept his relationships short, not wanting to get close to anyone. After all having someone he cared for meant he had a weakness and Cato had never welcomed anyone who had someone to lose. And now here he was, wanting to not only date but take it a step further. He had been able to keep his head and not end up blowing up on her, his anger usually taking over when he least expected it. He had a tendency of driving away those he cared for, knowing it wouldn’t hurt nearly as much that way. He had expected that he would fall into his old ways, scaring away Glimmer before she grew too fond of him. And yet the idea had been completely overlooked, he not satisfied with any other life than one with her. He had planned an impromptu visit to district 4, knowing both of them were needing to get away from their homes; it was way overdue. Cato hadn’t returned to district 2 in weeks, and as he had predicted no one had missed him; or at least had not shown any sort of interest in the fact that he had seemingly disappeared. Glimmer had left early, she an earlier riser than himself. As planned he had made a stop before joining her on the private beach, fingering a small box in his pocket.
Cato had taken longer than he had anticipated inside, running over and over in his mind what he was going to say to her; never satisfied with the feeble words he put into sentences. With a groan he tossed off his shirt, the sunlight hitting his bare chest as he scanned the beach for her location. A smile twisted on his usually seriously mouth, taking a breathe before he made his way towards her. He decided to play it off, not wanting her to expect what he was about to do, and hopefully help with calming a case of nerves he was unfamiliar with, lounging beside her after planting a kiss on her neck.

Is this a Joke?~Catowithoutreserve
She noticed his hesitance and his defenses and she backed off now and she looked him over,”I see,” she said softly as she adverted her eyes and she bent down retrieving her bow from the ground before she walked passed him now and slowly back through the trees,”You can follow if you wish, I don’t intend any harm Cato…I think I really need to save the whole blood thirsty card for the arena” she said as she glanced over her shoulder at him. “Come on, I’ll show you a few things that may make your stay a little more enjoyable” she assured not sure he’d follow but if he chose to it was his choice. She continued slowly making her way through the trees as thoughts raced into her head, he treated her like an enemy which technically she had been but certainly he should understand that she was only doing as he was trying to survive. She sighed and she finally reached the meadow where she sat down in the tall grass and she set her bow aside and glanced up at the sky and far out onto the trees, she missed doing this with Gale, but she and he were far from good terms any more, she had made it this way. She chewed the inside of her cheek and glanced over her shoulder seeing if he was going to join her or if he had taken his leave.
Cato watched her, his defenses still on high alert. This was the girl who had taken his life, had been the direct result of his ultimate demise. Even if the games were over he couldn’t find it in himself to have a shred of trust towards the girl on fire. His eyes followed her actions, ready to retaliate in a violent manner if she should try to kill him for a second time. Perhaps the games were over, but enemies was not an easy mind set to break. Adrenaline hummed through his veins, ready to bring her down if she made a move against him. He jerked his head towards her upon hearing of her going into the arena. It did not line up with the capital’s promise to never make a victor have to return to the games. Before he could stop himself the question escaped his lips, curiosity getting the better of him. “The games are over, you need not worry about taking another life. Unless of course by some twist of fate you are returning.” Cato couldn’t completely mask his innate delight upon her having to be a part of the games once more. He was only sorry that he couldn’t go as well and do justice upon the disgrace she had brought upon his head. He followed her, waiting for her reply. She seemed lost in thought, completely in a daze. He couldn’t allow himself to have such childish thoughts. It was reacting to the world in this fashion which had brought death upon many he had encountered during the games; by his own hand of course.
This is going to take a lot of convincing.
She has realized how much he had changed from her original thought of him. He was that sweet boyfriend that she had always wanted and if you hadn’t gotten to know him you would have never guessed him to be so..gentleman like. Most people thought of the people of two as the heartless killer and generally it was true but Cato happened to be the exception. Before they had met Glimmer didn’t believe guys could love, every guy she had been in love with had treated her like garbage and pretty much used her for sexual encounters. She had seemed for lost around him like a kid in a candy store just lost in the moment wishing it would never end and just realizing you had to leave soon. It was like a ticking time bomb if Cato left she would explode not literally, of course, but emotionally. She didn’t want to think about it not now that everything was perfect and she and him were fine she had nothing to worry about yet. Glimmer lifted herself back onto Cato lap wrapping her arms around him and kissing him softly. “I’ll have you forever and more.” She said smiling and looking into his crystal blue eyes that never failed to distract her from life.
Cato had not foreseen the change Glimmer would bring not only into his life but also into his personality. It was a change that he hadn’t been willing to embrace right away, but after everything he had put Glimmer through she deserved nothing than the very best he could give her. The fact that she had forgiven him at all and allowed him to be something to her that he never merited was beyond incredible. He was willing to do whatever it took to maintain her desire to have him at her side. He had made it his personal mission to never display feeling towards anyone in the world. Seeing those around him as possible tributes so his goal would only be to destroy them. Now that the games were over and he was somewhat free of the capital’s control of him he had no quams with displaying his affections towards Glimmer. Cato had no one else in the world who cared if he lived or died. He had known if Glimmer would not take him, then he would have no reason to live. She being the only one who cared for him, having failed his parents and his district. The shame of living there as a failure had been far too great for Cato to ever want to return. The idea of being in a place where Glimmer residing instead was too appealing for him to think of anything else. He kissed her, savoring the taste of her skin against his own. “Forever may not be long enough, but I’ll take whatever I can.” Cato said, taking her hand and leading her from the carnival.

//AIMEE BABE YOU REPLIED Q~Q :'D
//yes i did, sorry it took so long, gosh my weeks have been filled to capacity lately
Hello everyone
I’d love it to be. Stop it with those looks you are turning me on.
I had a feeling that you might. Don't worry you have the same affect on me babe.
Unafraid II Cato & Katniss II
“I know I can lie my way out of it, I’ve lied my whole life. Especially about how I’ve felt.” Katniss hugged Cato tightly and closed her eyes, she silently swayed with him until she stopped thinking about her past. She looked up at Cato and smiled, she loved his face and his structure. She reached up and kissed his lips for what seemed like forever. She let go and laid down next to him. She shortly fell asleep since she had a long day of training.
Cato nodded, curling a strand of her dark hair around his index finger. "I think the capital has made a liar out of all of us." Cato said, knowing he had lied to himself and those around him for the entirety of his life. Acting as though he cared for no one in the world. He masquerading as though he wasn't even capable of such thoughts or actions. He wrapped his arms around her, closing his eyes against the world. It's said that if you slow your breathing, time slows as well. Cato didn't know if that was true but being with Katniss made him crave a method to slow time. In a matter of weeks they would be thrown into the games. He would have to find a creative method in which he could be with her. He had pushed it out of his mind but he would have to face it someday. Today was not that day, right now he had her in his arms and there was little else that mattered to him.
