A sonnet for Kian
I miss your face sometimes when it gets late When I've been up a while fighting my ghosts It's been so long, all we do is just wait You make it worth it, I love you the most Miss your warm smile and your hands and your hair And all the talking we did in New York We're so far away and it doesn't seem fair Can we make this work? Do we need more torque? Although sometimes it can feel like we're stuck The stars are aligned, we still keep moving I wish I could kiss you, wish we could fuck But day by day our case is improving I want to love you and be loved by you A lover's reunion? Long overdue
