So it's official: I'm finally a crazy enough guinea pig owner to be inspired by @catfindr and @rabbitfinder to make this tumblr for petfinder AND guineapigfinder (thank you @funlovingfuzzball!) guinea pig listings. If you love cats and rabbits, please go follow them! If you love guinea pigs and want to help them find new homes, please spread the word or reblog the listings! I'll try to post two a day.

You will see guinea pigs in pairs or more since they're herd animals and need companions; sometimes there are special circumstances, but usually you will see them in pairs or more. If you want to learn how to care for guinea pigs, this is a good website for starters.

This is an all-ages tumblr, and while you can still submit guinea pigs I prefer to not interact with minors much. Hope you understand!

And remember, adopt don't shop!

Hey folks, it's been some time since I've posted ever since Bruno (the one in my PFP) passed away. But I'm coming back to bring you some urgent news: these four guinea pigs need to be adopted, either in pairs or all together, by Sunday or else they have to be euthanized. I spoke to the owner recently to learn why (which I will omit to respect her privacy), so I may be adopting two of them, but it's not guaranteed. Cinnamon and Tofu are senior guinea pigs which rarely ever get adopted so please consider spreading the word!

sorry for the unprecedented hiatus. i lost my little guy bruno in april and it's been really difficult to look at petfinder since then. i search listings set to random, but sometimes it shows some near me and my impulse is to find them and adopt them. hurts to look at. don't want to go too much into it. idk how long this hiatus will last, i'm sorry
