Summary of my overall CAS experience.
I am generally proud of wat I accomplished throught the 3 years of my CAS experience. During the physics extracurricular activities I learned a lot about physics itself and improved my tinkering skills. Some of the tinkering skills I didnt know before and never had the chance to obtain, however with the physics club I had the chance to learn how to solder wires and other electronics.
When it comes to my activities I think I generally increased my health and condition as a whole. The regular bike rides were great fun as well as lengthy excercises which required a lot of effort. Additionally my hiking trips provided me with memorable experiences which I’m unlikely to forget.
Volunteering as part of the dog shelter was perhaps the most consistent of my activities. Throught the three yeas I conducted my CAS it, and the physics club remained constant. Even when my presence at the physics club became sparse due to schoolwork, I still attended the shelter. The dogs I took care of also forged some great memories I am unlikely to forget.
If I were to reflect on what could be done better, it would be to participate in something which impacts the world more. Working as a volunteer for an international oragnization would, in my view also grant me with some great memories and experiences.
