Maturing is realizing that “i’m just a girl” is a purely sexist phrase.

I don’t mean to say that women should give up their femininity

But most women who say “I’m just a girl,” treat themselves with excessive leniency, which ends up holding women back even further.

This also insinuates that there's nothing to them outside of their gender, limiting them to the idea that their gender is their only worthwhile trait.
