To put it in easy terms, Naeun fucked up to the core. Why did she get angry? Why did she walk away? She felt so ashamed in herself, but technically this wasnât the first time she pulled this stunt on the other. It shocked her how the other still stuck by her side to this day. Angrily wiping her snot on her sleeves, she let out a soft huff. She mentally started lecturing herself on her actions, obviously taking note to treat the other card better. Softly smacking her forehead, she grumbled angrily. She literally just went through all the stages of âhow to realize youâre a horrible human beingâ in less than an hour. She lightly shivered as it started to get colder. Well- it wasnât that cold, but she was always one to be sensitive to the weather.Â
She instantly tensed up as she felt someone wrap their arms around her. It took her a moment to realize who it was. As weird as it sounded, this was something the two did quite often so she was more than used to the feelings of his arms around her. Along with that, he always had a particular scent that she was able to distinguish. It was comforting, to an extent. She would describe the smell as âhomeâ, but she didnât know what home smelled or felt like.Â
She slightly wiggled around in his grasp, turning around so she could hide her face in his chest. A soft sniffle left her as she quickly wrapped her arms around his strong build. She slightly tightened her hold, afraid that he would disappear any moment to go off to some wannabe fairy girl. Just the thought of it made her tremble with anger. She wanted to apologize- really, she did. But it was quite hard for her. It seemed the words just didnât want to come out.Â
âIâm sorry!â She yelled out, a little bit too loud, finally looking up at the other. Her eyes widened as she let out a squeak of embarrassment, hiding her face in his chest once again. Her cheeks felt as if they were on fire. âI wanna go home..â She mumbled softly. She softly tugged on his shirt as a sign that she wanted to go home, now.
âWell⌠Can you keep a secret?â Knowledge whispered to her, trying to look mysterious. âSometimes when I look at people, I could guess things pretty well. Perhaps it is the god of Overwatch looking over me.  Like some kind of infra-sight.â
âSometimes⌠it is like I have an idea behind the fates above us. The fates that govern our actions, our thoughts. More often than not howeverâŚâ Knowledge frowned. âAll I can eavesdrops are words like angst and succ.â
Rubbing his beard in thought. âIn fact, I personally think that the fate thatâs governing you is quite the ace.â He chuckled. âYouâre future should be chaotic. I do hope you enjoy it much.â
Removing a vacuum flask from under the desk, he unscrewed it, and poured it into the lid that also serves as a cup. âSome tea?â
Naeun blinked a few times, cocking her head to the side out of confusion. âWell, of course.â She furrowed her eyebrows at his next words, eyes narrowing a little. Guess things, huh? She decided to keep quiet, nodding as he continued to talk. This person certainly was interesting.Â
âFates.â She mumbled softly, nodding again. A red flag popped up in her head at that. He seemed a little suspicious. No human would say that, aside from psychics and what not. If she was anything human, it would probably be just a coincidence, but see she wasnât really human. Technically she is, but obviously to an extent. After her contract, it was obvious that she progressed towards the âmagical beingâ side.Â
She quirked an eyebrow at him. âfascinating, really.â To think that a fate could be an ace. A soft laugh escaped her at the mention of chaotic. Oh, it was going to be chaotic alright. âWell, letâs just say that I signed up for it.âÂ
She nodded at his question. I donât believe iâve gotten your name. Certainly, the name on the board outside is not yours.â
With sunglasses on her face, she walked up to the woman, and picked up a pamphlet for the expo at a nearby kiosk. Damn, it was even hotter outside her car. Tzuyu stood next to Naeun and pretended to study the slip of paper to not raise suspicion. How sneaky. âTzuyu here, reporting for investigation.â She spoke quietly, still reasonably nervous. She awaited patiently for further instructions from the founder about how to deal with such a task.Â
Home. That was where she wanted to be right now. She didnât want to be attending some weird convention. Sure, she agreed to meet up with her friends here but that was much later. She had to get here early to 1. assign the mission to the members and 2. look lowkey so no one suspected her of anything. There was some magical source here and she had to get it. If it went to those stupid magical leagues, who knew what could happen. probably use it to continue capture cards or something like that. a frown appeared on her visage as she leaned back in the chair.Â
Taking out her phone, she decided to go through her social medias to past some time. The next member would be coming in a few minutes. Early or late, she didnât really care. As long as they followed the âarrive at separate timesâ rule that she set down.Â
Her head snapped up as she noticed someone sitting near her. Looking at the other from her peripheral vision, she raked through her head to get the femaleâs name right. She saw her a few times at the meetings, the other being late a few times. Naeun didnât mind though. She personally didnât like the meetings much, hence why she didnât appear at them at times. Â
As soon as she spoke up, Naeun could sense the nervousness in her voice. She tried her hardest to giggle. It was quite amusing, fear, that is. âPlease, donât be so nervous. This isnât your first time meeting me.â She mumbled, her voice as soft as ever as she kept her eyes on her phone. âTechnically, this is your first time speaking to me alone, but really- iâm not scary.â She sent the other a smile just to ease her nerves. âPlus, weâre on the same side.â She sent her a wink.Â
âYour mission should be easy. Go and locate the magical source. It seems youâre the last one so iâll be accompanying you.â
it was loud and humid, annoying in general. naeun was one to conceal her emotions well if she wanted to, but this place was just testing her. she felt her eye twitch in annoyance. if she heard another kid cry- she was going to blow her shit. letting out a sigh, she crossed her arms over her chest as she softly tapped her feet against the floor. she already sent all of her members off to find the hidden magic source. now it was her turn to go off and find it. she specifically instructed everyone to arrive at a specific time so they werenât suspicious. to other people, it was just your neighborhood florist greeting her usual customers and being a friendly fairy she was.
leaning back in her seat, she glanced at her phone. 13:00.
Her favorite number.
The number of bad luck. That was all she was. Bad luck.
Deciding that it was her time to go, she slowly stood up from her seat as she dusted herself off. It was all okay at first, no attention being drawn to her in any way. Then sudden she heard multiple screams. That caused her to quickly raise her guard. She quickly ran towards the screams, fear swallowing her that any of her members could have been hurt. She flinched at the sudden bright light, hands instinctively coming up to protect her eyes as she took a step back.
âNaeun?â
She knew that voice anywhere. Removing her hands, she sent a bright smile to her roommate. âHey, you! I didnât know youâd be here. What was that scream?â Her eyes scanned around room. She felt a little uneasy, but this was her best friend. He wouldn't hurt her. Her roommate shrugged, walking over to her before wrapping an arm around her shoulder. âI donât know, but iâm feeling quite peckish. Have a bite with me?â
âUm- sure, I guess?â She felt a little uneasy. She didnât know why- it was a feeling in her stomach. He seemed normal as ever?
It all happened so quick. A few moments ago she was going to get food with her friend and then sheâs getting attacked. Her chest heaved up and down as she tried her hardest to find some sort of hiding spot. Her heels were ditched long ago in attempts to run faster. Quickly turning a corner, she stayed close to the wall, hand coming up to clutch her charm tightly. She felt the familiar feeling of her transformation, seconds before she was in her uniform. Her cape felt heavier than usual, but maybe that was just in her head.
âNaeun~ Where are you?â
She felt sick at the venom in his voice. He never used that tone on her. Taking a step out from her hiding spot, she slowly observed her surroundings. It was empty and quiet, a little too quiet. She didnât like it. What the hell was happening? She came here to find magic, not whatever this stupid game was. A loud crash made her jump, mind going into overdrive as she started running once again.
âNoona!â Her eyes widened. Jeremy. He was literally just with her a few moments ago, the last one to be released to go find the magic. He wanted to stay with her but that wasnât working. Letting out a grumble, she started running towards his voice. She instantly came to a halt once she saw his body on the ground. âJeremy!â Running towards her card, a soft gasp left her. Softly touching his cheeks, a frown appeared on her face at the sight of blood on his body.
âGotcha.â
Chocolate brown hues widened before a scream escaped her lips at the various ribbons tying her up. âWhat are you doing you mutt!â She wiggled, trying her best to escape the shiny red fabric. A dark chuckle left his lips as he started to get close to her. A little too close for comfort. She tried to wiggle away, but sadly the ribbons wouldnât move against the floor. She felt the fear set into her bones as she saw the malice in his eyes. âYou say you want to help the cards, but how can you when youâre like this? The oh so powerful leader of the lotus, tied up. How tragic.â A nasty glare was sent his way, her tiny frame filling up with only hatred for the card. How dare he say those things when she let him in. A growl escaped her crimson lips, more than ready to bite if she has to. Continuing to squirm back and forth, she felt an opening between the ribbons.
âwhat makes you think you can fucking do his! we had an oath! nous protĂŠgeons ceux qui ne peuvent pas se protĂŠgĂŠ!â she barked out, teeth bared. âsee, that is your motto. not mine. and last time i checked, you can clearly protect yourself.â she froze at his words, her mind taking a time to comprehend his words. too bad she didnât get a minute. a gasp escaped her lips as she felt the ribbons tighten around her. her lungs clawed at her chest for hair, the handles of her knives digging into her rib cage.
hello everyone! forgive me for not being here for the last few days- iâve been packed with things regarding my club ;-; Â but i am here now!! forgive me if i forgot to welcome someone- im quite scatterbrained at the moment.Â
if anyone would like to plot for the event or just plot in general, donât hesitate to like this and iâll hop into your im! Â
He stood up and walked the area once, maybe twice, never finding trace of her. He went back to where they sat on first and waited, hopeful that she eventually would come back. Still, at least an hour had passed and there was no sign of her. Once he got back on his feet again, he took out his phone and tried calling her several times while he broke out into a run.Â
naeun angrily stomped down the busy streets, her aim was now to go to her flower shop. she mumbled a string of curse words, vision still red and ready to murder. who the hell does he think he is? always looking at other pretty woman whenever theyâre out. naeun was literally by his side but he still does it! the fucking nerve of this card. her nails dug into her palms, perfectly manicured nails breaking layers of skin. thankfully she didnât bleed, yet.Â
after about an hour of just walking, she finally realized that she should have been at the shop by now. or well- near it. she blinked a few times as she observed her surrounding. she expected to find something familiar but no- nothing. she froze in her spot. oh god- she was lost. did she even walk in the right way? she turned around and quickly started to walk back, only to realize that it was getting a little too dark for her liking.Â
she took in a shaky breath, quickly taking her phone out to call the other. after pressing her home key a few times she soon realized that her phone died. she could feel the anxiety rising in her petite frame. she didnât know what to do. why the hell did she walk off? her whole body was shaking at this point, like a terrified chihuahua. she let out a soft whimper out of fear, eyes frantically looking around to find some sort of comfort. she couldnât move- she didnât want to. something could easily pop out at her if she even moved at the moment. she was paralyzed in the cold. it got even darker and that was the breaking point for the fairy-like female. she had tears streaming down her face, a few sobs escaping her every now and then as she wrapped her arms around herself to calm herself down.Â
â welcome! would you like a table, a booth, or to sit at the counter? â the girl asks sweetly, pen and pad at the ready for a possible order. â i can list our specials if you would like- oh and our beverages are half off today. â
it wasnât normal for naeun to be out at this time. she didnât like wandering out at night ( or evening in general ) by herself out of laziness. she also didnât want to fight any magical heroes for cards. plus that put her on the danger list for the leagues, something she didnât need if she wanted to accomplish her goals.Â
slowly walking into the restaurant, she was instantly greeted by a warm atmosphere ( along with a worker welcoming her ). âiâll just take a seat at the counter, thank you.â she sent the other a soft smile before taking a seat. here was an uneasy feeling that settled in her stomach as she stared at the worker. sheâll have to ask someone to look this girl up later.Â
âif that isnât much trouble, please.â she sent the other a soft smile, placing the menu down to give the worker her full attention.
âHow you do?â she somewhat greeted.** âI have tweaked of a few gadgets the Order put in my care thus completing my task. I donât know if you are aware of it, but I have been asked for weapons that could destroy an entire block if given to the wrong person.â **And, mongrels and their human natural behaviors always tended to be towards power, ambition and etc. She kept those vulgar thoughts to herself, after all, she was in the presence of a heroine.
naeun was very soft, it was obvious. even as her alter ego, there was always a soft heart behind the cold demeanour that they called âpersephoneâ. sure, she refused to acknowledge her alter ego as âoneâ with her, but when it came down to the core. persephone was naeun and the egoâs goal werenaeunâs. but back to being soft-hearted- naeun was always one to protect the cards. no one else was willing to. the leagues were all about catching the cards. it seemed some part of empathy was lost somewhere during the evolution of magical heroes. it seemed they could care less about the cards. that was what the order was for.Â
a haven for not only cards, but so called âtraitorsâ to the league. people who were just misunderstood. their ultimate goal? it was simple. Â
naeun was doing her usual routine at the shop before she heard starscream meow loudly to signal the entrance of a customer. hearing a familiar voice, she turned around to be greeted by her favorite card ( next to the nightmare card ). a soft smile appeared on her visage before she turned back to her plants.
âhello sedna.â she greeted back softly. she nodded in approval at her next words. âi hope it wasnât any trouble for you. if you have them right now, please place them in the back. if not, then just drop them off at headquarters.â she mumbled, her attention focused on the peony in her hands. with a pair of scissors in her hand, she slowly started cutting off any rotten leaves or petals on the flower. her eyes widened at the mention of a weapon, scissors harshly cutting the stem of the flower. her eye twitched as she watched the flower fall to the ground. straightening up, her eyes narrowed as she sharply turned to the card.
âa WEAPON? i donât remember the council talking to me about that.â sheâll have a very nice talk with them later.Â
âdonât give them any weapons. that is an order.âÂ
naeun always held some sort of pride in herself for her great looks. she wasnât ugly, that was for sure. through the various flowers she received and gifts from elementary to now, it was more than obvious that she held some sort of attractiveness to the people around her. everyone had their own opinions and what not, but majority of the opinions that surrounded her were all positive. sure, she could be a tad bit self-conscious at times but that was only in certain situations. situations like now-Â
her eyes narrowed as she watched her favourite card ( aside from sedna ) literally drool over some girl. she was alright, in naeunâs point of view. she normally wouldnât care, but how could she not when myungsoo was openly staring at her. a tiny growl escaped her petite frame, the so-called  âuglyâ side of naeun coming out. she was always too protective over what was HERS. she softly tugged on their intertwined hands. a scowl replaced the frown on her visage, every amount of sadness in her petite frame quickly turned into anger.Â
her eyes narrowed, trying once again to get his attention. how dare he look at someone else, especially in front of her. a loud âhmphâ left her as she violently pulled her hand away from his. if he wanted to stare at someone else then she didnât need to be here. she stomped away, too blind by anger to see where she was going. at the moment, all she knew was that she wanted to get away as soon as possible.
it was rare to find someone who adored flowers as much as the fairy-like female. sure, there were people who liked flowers but there were also people who loved flowers. people who dug deeper to understand a flower, people who memorized what each story meant and the story it told.
in front of her was one of those few that loved flowers. it was amusing how the pair would just talk about flowers non-stop. quite fascinating yet at the same time weird when you really thought about it. taking a sip of her tea, she quirked an eyebrow at the other before her eyebrows furrowed out of worry. âyou didnât cut yourself, did you?âÂ
naeun always had a problem with thorns, her soft hands being home to various scars due to the roses. there was a reason why they werenât her favorite flower.
âi guess you can call it some sort of life lesson. after all, pain is a package deal with love.â she let out a soft laugh, dainty digits reaching out to softly pluck the flower up.Â
âi donât like roses. theyâre too close to reality for me.â she frowned, grabbing a pair of scissors next to her to quickly remove all the thorns from the flower. âbut, roses are okay sometimes. like when theyâre used to bring out beauty in another.âÂ
she smiled brightly at the other before reaching over to softly tuck the rose in their hair.
she blinked a few times at his answer. how weird- she always heard about these things from her friends but she never really bothered going to these fortune tellers. placing her hand in his, she decided not to make any comment just in case she would disrupt his concentration.Â
a flower? she slightly nodded, staying quiet to listen to the other. a flower that had everything it needed? what did he mean by that? what line was he talking about? she kept her face stoic at the mention of the so called âstormâ. it was obvious he was talking about the lotus. what else would he be talking about at the moment? she was the founder, she was the eye of the storm. she was chaos.Â
she let out a small âhuh?â at his next words before she burst into a fit of giggles. how amusing this person was. pretending to be a fortune teller- his words seemed to make sense to her though. sheâll keep them in mind. a bright smile appeared on her visage.Â
âI must applaud you though, it seems like you know what youâre saying though.â
anything can make sense if you have the right victim and the right amount of conviction.Â
But, thereâs a pretty young girl sitting across from him that looks like she could use some cheering up (at least, in his eyes). Sunggyu smiles holds out the lollipop. Â âDo you want one?â he asks. âItâs strawberry! Nobody in their right mind can resist strawberry.â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
letâs just say naeun isnât the happiest camper right now. normally naeun wasnât the type to get involved in anything âpersephoneâ chose to do. whatever her alter ego did, was strictly up to her. sure- she understood that her so-called alter ego was still apart of the fairy-like femaleâs personality but she refused to acknowledge it. persephone was horrible. she was ruthless. she was goal oriented. she was everything naeun wasnât and she enjoyed it.Â
it was an escape from the weak girl that everyone babied.Â
sure, naeun loved any type of attention but to be looked down on? it was annoying. she wanted to be feared. she wanted to have some sort of power. she wanted change.Â
sadly, change hurt a lot. physically and mentally. hence why the petite female was in the waiting room with bandaids wrapped on various limbs. a frown graced her face as she angrily flipped through the old crumpled magazine in front of her. she didnât see why they were making her wait. she was literally bleeding to death at the moment after her stupid fight with that quicksilver kid.Â
hee head instantly snapped up at the strangerâs voice, her body ready to lash out to do some damage. her relaxed seeing that it was only someone offering her a lollipop. she blinked a few times, a soft smile appearing on her visage at his words. true, no one could resist strawberry. Â she shook her head though.Â
i finally made a plots page for our precious fairy over here! if youâd like to take a plot then donât hesitate to say so~ if we already plotted and you would like to take another plot then also- donât hesitate to say so! ;v;
forgive me if these arenât the best plots- i tried, therefore i should get a gold star.
