This little lady is Dank Lotus, and I was greatly alarmed when I saw how ill she was upon being imported when I remembered they’re supposed to be sick. I love toxic creatures, and they’re a really cool concept, but heck do they worry me.

KittyTikara’s Updated Stinger Norns:

“The Stinger Norns V2 are an updated version of an old genetic breed of mine. They come in both CFE and CFF versions now, though there's only one type of each this time around. The Anai are a lighter color and are based on a CFE Gizmo genome made by Kezune. They can live for up to 10 or 11 hours and have longer pregnancies. The Rikori are a darker color and are regular norns, besides the whole stinger-eating thing. Both use the Wood Norn sprites. The biggest change from the old version is that they now require an agent called the Modified Stingers to actually be able to eat Stingers without pain and get nutrition from them. This agent makes Stinger Norns and any descendants that inherit special genes be able to eat stingers.”

Bone’s Eulogy to Miss Megnan Buffbody, Esq.:

Today, we say goodbye to Miss Megnan Buffbody, Esquire.

She will long be remembered to all as a businesswoman, an elevator enthusiast, and quite frankly a legend. But to those of us who had the privilege of knowing her personally, of knowing who she truly was, she was a beautiful soul taken from us far too soon.

I remember when I thought her into existence, and the careful planning and forethought that went into her creation. I remember when we met for the first time, and she told me I had funny looking ears. I remember the time we spent as roommates, and in a way, teammates. It was us against the world, and us against the homeowner's association.

I, and many others, ache with the passing of such a dear friend. I know if she were here with me today, she'd tell me not to be sad for her passing, but rather to be eem exmly bibble.

So on this day we remember and grieve, but we also celebrate the life and legacy of Miss Megnan Buffbody, Esquire.

Red Velvet Norn/Ettin/Grendel Breed Concept:

Playing Creatures 2 as a kid, I once got a golden desert norn with a mutation that turned him bright red. His doofy little hair reminded me of red velvet cake, and I realized there weren’t a lot of vibrant red breeds out there, for norns or otherwise. So I finally sat down and tried to figure out what a Red Velvet Grendel, Norn, and Ettin would look like. It’s pretty rough, but I don’t even know if I’ll try and make this into an actual breed. The white is supposed to represent frosting! I suppose in hindsight I should’ve made it more cream-coloured than white...

I think a dessert breed pack would be super cute, though. Red Velvet norns, Spongecake ettins, etcetera... Devil’s food cake Grendels? :P Maybe I’m just hungry.

Ooooh, I recognize those sprites! That’s from Creatures Village!! :D

“This agent will amuse both you and your creatures. To creatures it's just a simple toy but to you, it's a jukebox that can play the music from C3 and DS. (Also the music from C2 if you have C2toDS installed. Just hold shift and press any of the switches 4 times.) It's a fairly decent music player as well, allowing you to shuffle all tracks and loop a particular song as long as you want. One downside is that any births or deaths will interrupt the player. It also doesn't play the birth, death, or near death songs from any of the games due to my own tastes. I've heard them often enough I can't stand them.”

“The Elder Scrolls Autonamers are a bunch of autonamers that give all creatures names from the Elder Scrolls games. Each one is slightly different and I'm especially happy with the Orc autonamer. While not based on Amaikokonut's Protective Tub, they do include a version of it's update. Said update makes it to where the game can display longer names. This version of the update works in both DS and, hopefully, C3.”

Creatures Merchandise:

After much deliberation, I decided to put a Creatures section on my RedBubble store (I share the account with CCaves user Wesley, you can look at his stuff under the EchoCosmo category)! There’s only one design up at the moment (suggested on the Norn Nebula discord server), but there’ll be more to come! You can buy this on a shirt, a mug, a totebag, a pencil case, a phone case... Lots of stuff! I do recommend it on black, just because I think it looks nicer, but there are other colours.

All proceeds from the festival will be donated to Steve Grand for the production of Grandroids!

Little daredevil thought it’d be a good idea to provoke the grendel. Sigh... Oh well! I kept a backup of her file from before the run started. Someone give her a better chance?
