Here's my newest work in the Spider-Man fandom. It's about Tony meeting Peter and deciding to go all-in on this kid, in a world where there is a superhero/vigilante/mutant registration act which Peter is dodging. He grows pretty close to Peter while trying to show Peter there's reasons to care about himself and his future, despite the despair he's feeling surrounding the current state of the world. I'm updating on Mondays (or Sunday night like I did today depending on whats going on with my schedule lol). It's mostly written, I need to write 4ish more chapters before I can call it done and give a final chapter count. We're at at least 13 chapters.

Heh yeah sorry, it’s mostly about just not having ideas for a marvel x DC crossover. I don’t tend to read crossovers (except for like 2 or 3 I have in fact read) and my ideas usually stem from “ok this story except this happens instead so what’s different?” Lmao

I quite love this fic and never found one that had quite the same plot and whenever I see something with Dick being a parent it's always either Damian or Peter Parker

I haven’t, no. I know I’ve seen stories where he is a dad but I can’t recall any where that’s the focus of the story. He does have kids in various canons so maybe try going through the tags for those characters? Or like the relationship tag for dick Grayson & kid? Here’s the ones I can think of:

Holy moly your last Peter fics have been bangin!!

Really excited for the new story! It's cool to see you explore the different circumstances of Pete's acquisition by Tony and the parent/mentor and kid shenanigans that ensue.

Also, I noticed the familiarity between Winter Spider Pete and Cass in your In For a Pound series, they'd probably bond over their extraordinary abilities to notice small details, you write them both really well with their quirks. They give me cuteness aggression. Of course their respective dads could not resist the urge to adopt them on the spot(to both other bats and birds and avengers' chagrin).

Haha yay thanks. I've really been enjoying this Spiderson era. It's fun to write what is essentially the same exact themes I've always written but with different characters lol. I'm also completely unbearable IRL with excitement for the new spiderman movie so this is my outlet 😂

And yesss there definitely is some similarities between them. I've also toyed around with a Talon!Dick au in the past year or two and there were some parallels between him and the Winter Spider characters, too. I just really love that basic trope: extremely traumatized person learns what kindness is 🥺And an adult falls head over heels in (parental) love with a child because adoption is one of the most beautiful things in the world.

Although in this new fic I'm posting, there isn't any adoption or anything. Tony just slots himself squarely into the mentor role, since Aunt May is very much alive and fantastic. Peter just gets to collect more adults in his life who adore him.

Oh wow thanks! I haven’t thought about that in a while. I started that during the government shutdown of… was that 2018? I think? And uh then the government un-shutdown and everything got insanely busy and I’ve not had a not busy time since 😆 so I did never continue it, I’m sorry!!!

I’ve been reading the murderbot diaries this week and I’m 75% through book 7. I haven’t read any of the short side stories, just actual books 1-7 now. I’ve got book 8 checked out from Libby so I anticipate being done with it tonight or tomorrow too. I’m really upset Three isn’t more prevalent so far 😭😭😭😭 i love Three give me more Three. I was so mad he wasn’t in book 6 at all and now in book 7 he’s just like yeah there in the background. I WANT MURDERBOT & THREE BONDING.

this is my first time doing this type of embroidery. @embroid-away ‘s art inspired me to start embroidering comic panels. it’s not perfect I’m still figuring things out but I’m very proud of it.

I had actually found the comic this panel is in at an antique fair a few weeks ago completely by accident and I just had to get it. there’s just something so magical about seeing the embroidery right next to a physical comic book.

Hi! I'm finally catching up on Jason and the Three Terrors, I had stopped at chapter 42 way back then, and baby Jay taking such good care of the kids while himself not knowing what he's doing most of the time? Yeah, it's taking everything not to start full on sobbing. Then again I'm super sleep deprived 1nd stressed out because of work so my emotions are a bit of a mess, but aaaaah, I love Jason being such a good, loving, hardworking big brother. That's my baby there. 🥹 And hooray for Uncle Clark being such a solid, reliable adult! Anyway, I'm on chapter 52 now, and having a blast picking it procrastinating work as much as I can while watching the kids let themselves be kids.

Ahhhhh have fun! I really love that story so much Jason was doing his best 🥺🥺🥺🥺 he needed so many hugs and an ADULT but the kids were just fine under him he was doing great.

Hey, just want to let you know how much I love your fics!! I'm genuinely obsessed with them, and I managed to persuade my sister to read them (she doesn't normally read fanfic) and she loved them too. I think you're such a good writer!!

While I would find it hard to pick a favourite, I think I can manage it if i cheat and pick two — Jason and the Three Terrors and Reclaiming Innocence. I'm rereading J&TT right now and I love how Jason and... well, the three terrors xD... are written! And RI just makes me SO emotional every time I read it 😭.

I have been so obsessed with your work for a long time now, and I’ve been loving your new Peter-Parker-needs-a-hug era! Any plans for a Peter Parker joins the bat family story in that beautiful brain of yours? Poor Peter could use some of that sibling protective love…

Thanks!!!! I’ve been really enjoying this era of writing. It’s been several years since I just followed my muse and I forgot how fast I could write when doing so. Honestly I think not all kidnappings are bad was the last time I really did this, and I still think wistfully about my time writing that 😂

I don’t have plans for a crossover, no. Can’t really say I’ve thought about it much either, however Dark Matter was the fic I read that pushed me back into the Spiderman fandom a couple months ago lmao so if you haven’t read that one you definitely should.

I’ve mostly been flitting between two long fics I’m working on:

one a time travel with the whole stark family +peter post endgame (Tony lives) where they meet Howard and Maria and burnout and giving up are the main themes Peter and Tony are dealing with,

and the other one alternate meeting Tony & Peter that’s got something similar to the vigilante registration act from Smallville (and superhero registration act from civil war the actual comics, and mutant registration from xmen… this is such a common trope lol) looming over Peter’s head to the point Peter’s pretty lackadaisical about his own life and it freaks Tony out enough to get his butt in gear to fix it.

Both have been pretty fun to explore but my head only spends a few days at a time in each so I’m not posting until I’ve got a complete work. I’m pretty tired of having WIPs posted to ao3 that I haven’t finished. I feel bad about it but I just do not have the drive to work on any of them right now. The registration act one is the closest to being done I’ve got 6 chapters written I think and I don’t think I’ll end up with more than 15? I’m halfway through the plot so hopefully lol. The time travel one i have a pretty solid outline/draft of most the scenes but only one actual chapter written.

I love your Reclaiming Innocence story(s) so much. I really appreciate how you’re able to cover such intense/dark topics without going into graphic detail (and the comfort as well!!). I’ve actually considered printing them out to put in a binder so that I know I’ll always have it; I think I’d be extremely distraught if you ever deleted it for some reason 😅.

Anyways sorry went on a mini ramble there, but I just wanted to say that I love the story. It’s been a big comfort to me (the comfort parts, at least).

Aww! I’m glad you like them so much, I love that story a lot and I look forward to when my muse gets back to it so I can finish it! (Which I WILL one day!!!)

And don’t worry! I don’t believe in deleting stuff online. I think carefully before I post stuff just because of that 😆 (doesn’t mean i don’t cringe at stuff I’ve posted in the past!) so no risk of it being deleted! If anything I’d just never log in and look again if for some reason I wanted to forget it existed but I consider that story my master piece so I don’t see that happening lol
