We just heard the news. Covid-19 is in the academy. We always think positive--too positive that somebody from us got positive(from Covid). We did our best to prevent this tho, guess it was not enough. Hoping for the best.

Respect thy Upperclass

In the academy, seniority system exists. These people we call seniors or upperclass, a year or two older than us, or of higher grade level than us, are the ones that are responsible for us, juniors, usually first year or second year cadets. Giving corrective sanctions and reprimanding us is part of our life inside the academy. They do it to instill discipline, obedience and respect in us. Though some juniors may not understand why they do such, time will come when they become seniors too, and realize the reason behind it.

As for me, a second year cadet already, have double duties, to be a junior to our third year upperclass as well as being a senior to our first year cadets. "Pana-panahon lang yan," they say, well, they're right, we can have our turn soon, as long as we are patient enough.

This view from my cabin tells me to get off the window ang plunge into the cool water. Its refreshing!
