ah.. greenhouse... it definitely took me a while to warm up to them, especially considering their first release (_sndwrk/gh) wasnt not my type of genre at all. when i enjoy electronic music, my go-to is always intense and complex; while greenhouse was so... ruminative and 'simple' (at least considering the production).

fascinating as a character study, considering em's expression with nirvana, leaving 'physical' belongings/'mortal' world behind and living a 'non-harm' lifestyle. i think the meaning behind their music and roots in buddhism got me into listening to them again, and made me appreciate the music on a deeper level than what i considered 'feel good' music.
