Due to Ruby and Sapphire coming out, barumonster, hippano and I caught the pokemon fever. I picked sweet little Richard to draw, who is a master of Fairy and Normal type pokemon. His pokemon are cute and mostly useless. He never wins a battle and spends most of his time training his pokemon for contests instead, where they win with an overload of cute moves.

Went back for a little more photo-realism this time with a different brush. After, I went over it with a texture brush to make it look more like a painting and the effect was more than I could have hoped for. Took me two days to really get the details right, but really it was just switching between the screenshot and the painting layers. I hope you guys like it!
