pctranka:
every little movement that she made was with purpose â not a single one was made to waste. every little flick of her wrist, turn of her head; they commanded respect and instilled fear deep in the hearts of men. and the blues of her eyes struck them with a chill no one could ever think to exist before they met her. they called her the ice queen. like those WITCHES in fairy tales and once upon a blue moon, before she closed her eyes at night, she wondered if she really is such a heinous  creature. sheâs a WITCH and so she hated pure hearted girls like this one in front of her. theyâre colored the same by GOD and yet she was sure the young queenâs heart is a much more vibrant color compared to her. âand such innocence is weakâ, she told herself as she looked down on the person in front of her from the stairs sheâs descending from.Â
âwhy?â her voice was like a hummingbirdâs but she pecked like a woodpecker. âdid you get yourself lost?â and her tone was decisively not a pleasant one ââ but had it ever been anything but unpleasant?
Cecilia had been taken aback by the womanâs tone of voice. Â There was a hint of ice and venom in her words that she had not expected. Â Even if she had somehow masked her accent, the young queen would not have needed it to figure out who this woman was. Â Princess Petraâs reputation and notoriety had preceded her, a reputation her advisers had told her would be best to avoid. Â
The womanâs blue eyes burrowed deep into Cecilia. Â This was one of the people she knew would tear her down if she showed weakness. Â Instead of cowering like she instinctively wanted to do, she stood strong. Â Who was this woman to speak to her that way, anyhow?
âActually, I have.â  The young queenâs voice was less light now, a serious, deeper, yet cautious tone  âIâve only just arrived, and Iâm unfamiliar with the layout of the castle.  If youâd be so kind to point me in the right direction, I am looking for the Great Hall.â
