âI wouldnât sit there if I were you,â he warned.
Cecilyâs brow raised in reluctance, she didnât sit just in case. âWhy?â
franklongbootyâ:
âThe point is that youâre â youâre obviously still angry, or upset. And,â now he did let out a sigh, albeit a small one. A lot had changed after the past few months. âAnd maybe I deserve it, but I donât want you holding onto that. Not when it still affects you.â
âI am upset, yes.â She admitted with a nod. There was no point of lying. Her arms crossed against her chest as she waited for him to continue. âBut I will get over it eventually.â She sighed too. She let the silence linger for a second, frowning.
âWhat are you suggesting? Do you really believe we can be friends?â She stopped to correct herself. âWell, not friends but at least friendly.â
fabiansacharmerâ:
Fabian, too, had seen a muggle movie or two, but never had he seen a depiction of such horror. He felt himself pale at the thought. âYou really think that could happen?â
Cecily paused for a second, shuddering at the thought. âI hope not.â She turned to Fabian, eyes widened. âBesides, we have magical abilities, we can stop the door from closing...â She wasnât sure though. âRight?â
fabiansacharmerâ:
WHEN:Â 8 July, 1979 WHERE: Ministry of Magic WHO: Cecily Beckett @cecilybeckettâ & Fabian Prewett
âHold it, hold it, holdââ Fabian gasped for breath as he narrowly slipped between the doors to the lift before they slammed shut. His sigh of relief was loud enough to drown out the soothing voice announcing their floor. He turned to the person nearest him, and grinned sheepishly. âClose call, eh?â
Cecily extended her arm to hold the lift, luckily Fabian managed to slip between the doors before itâs too late. Forcing a grin, she turned to him. âIt really was.â She said, adjusting her bagâs strap. âI wouldnât have tried. I am even terrified of the idea. Like what if I got stuck in there? That happens to people apparently, I have seen in a muggle movie once.â

Frank bit back a sigh of his own. He really didnât understand why she still held so much animosity. Itâd been almost a year since they were together, and even then she seemed so angry, so hurt, any time they saw each other. âI just meant, thereâs no need to actively try and avoid me. We can be civil.â
Letting go has never been Cecilyâs strong suit, she held onto her grudges forever. It didnât matter how much she loved Frank back then, her grudge always overshadowed what they shared once. âWhatâs the point, Frank?â She shrugged. âI will be leaving soon.â Cecily said, voice shaky. âWe will probably never see each other again.â
franklongbootyâ:
âYou donât need to do that, you know.â
âItâs better in that way.â Cecily sighed. âItâs not like we can be friends.â
franklongbootyâ:
âItâs fine â theyâd have blown away otherwise.â
âI know theyâd have.â Cecily sighed. âI was just making a point.â She pressed her lips together. âAnd trying to avoid you, just like I promised.â
franklongbootyâ:
Frank was walking back to his flat, eyes half on the person currently walking towards him, carrying a pile of boxes and papers stacked so high their face was hidden. He was just thinking to himself that there would be much easier ways to do it, when the person tripped, and their belongings scattered everywhere, some even landing near his feet. Frank crouched down to pick them up, glancing upwards to meet eyes with none other than Cecily Beckett. He offered her a weak smile as he stood, holding the papers out to her. âHere.â
@cecilybeckettâ
As usual, Cecily was in a rush, running one class to another. Usually she would be complaining about her busy schedule but now that she was aware these were her last days in Hogwarts, the rush didnât bother her. Books carried against her chest, she accidentally tripped on her shoelaces and dropped the books on the ground. With a quiet groan, she reached for her books, only to meet a familiar gaze. Great, she thought. She tried to keep a straight face as much as she could, then forced a smile. âThank you.â She took the papers. âYou didnât need to though.â

gilbert-selwynâ:
Pandora had barely slept while thinking about the wedding, the time had really passed too quickly and suddenly the wedding day had come. However, she had never been a good example when it came to good sleep routines and organized schedules, yet her energy never runned out. Just like now, Gilbert and Cecily were sitting while Pandora paced back and forth, unable to keep quiet, not because she was nervous, but because she was finally with the two people she most respected. âOf course!â replied Pandora to Cecily enthusiastically, looking with a smile at Gilbert, before her gaze caught something interesting which distracted her from the conversation âShould we play a game ? â
Nodding, Gilbert gestured to the game as he took another drag from his joint. âSure, that sounds great! Itâs been a while since Iâve been able to do anything like that. Speaking of whiles, itâs been one since Iâve seen either of you as well⌠I really am sorry for that.â
Offering both women a small smile, Gil shrugged slightly, âThings have been⌠a bit chaotic.â
âA play sounds great, Gil is right, it has been a while since this trio has played one.â Cecily went along with Pandoraâs idea, smiling. They all were busy with their lives, graduation was approaching and frankly, Cecily couldnât wait to leave this chapter of her life behind. âNo need to be sorry, we know how busy you were.â First his motherâs sudden death, then the wedding. âApothecary, wedding, family business... Must be really hard to keep it together.â @rohmantiqâ
daveygudgeonâ:
âLess than an O? Youâre reaching,â He scoffed, until he realized â âOh, youâre serious. Well, youâre in good hands, because,â He brought the joint up to his lips, âI guarantee Iâll make this baby happy as a clam.â
âOf course I am.â Cecily sighed. âI really want to trust you Davey because this is so important for me, okay? We will make sure this mandrake baby will stay alive and happy for a week, then we both will get our Os and move on with our lives.â
shafiqaliceâ:
fabiansacharmerâ:
Fabian gaped openly at Alice. âThatâs not true,â he protested, with little evidence to back his claimâthough he saw little evidence to back hers. âWhat are you on about?â
âAmelia?â Hogwarts was a rumor mill, and while Alice hadnât exactly been on the pulse of what was happening, she heard enough to figure that much out. âIâve been sleeping with Frank. Iâm going to stop sleeping with Frank.â
daveygudgeonâ:
Davey began to laugh. âIâm thinking about the little dirt mustache Iâll get from kissing it.â
âNow you got me thinking of that too.â She grimaced a little. âNot a sight I want to imagine nor witness.â Cecily told him with a sigh. âI need you to take this seriously Davey, I am going to graduate in a month and the last thing I want is getting anything less than an O.â
daveygudgeonâ:
âYou mean, like, kiss it?â
âI meant like hugging it once in a while,â She stopped to look over the mandrake baby. âBut if you really want to kiss it, be my guest.â
daveygudgeonâ:
âHey, I have a toad named Juan. Heâs alive.â Right, he didnât mention the fact that he didnât know where said toad was at the moment. Heâd just hop out at any given moment, give ya a right scare. Thatâs what Davey loved about him most. âOkay, okay, so I wonât smoke around the thing. Any other rules while weâre alone, mummy?â
âIs he, really?â Cecily wouldnât believe it until she saw the toad with her two eyes. âThank you, the least you can do.â Her eyes rolled at the word mummy. âJust try to keep it alive, donât give any drugs to it. I assume you would also have to be a little affectionate towards it, which is something I am incapable of doing.â
daveygudgeonâ:
Stay-at-home dad, huh? Opposite of deadbeat, that was for sure. Davey flicked his cigaretteâs ashes off into the Mandrakeâs pot, bringing it back up to his lips, âI like the way you think.â
âDonât do that!â Cecily widened her eyes at Davey as she saw him flicking the ashes off into the pot. This felt like she was going to take care of two children and to be frank, she didnât have the patience to be anyoneâs babysitter, yet here they were. âHave you ever taken care of a baby before? Wait, let me rephrase; have you ever taken care of anything before?â
daphnedavenportâ:
âMhm, and thatâs precisely the reason Iâve never seen that film.â Daphne finished off the rest of her champagne. âIâm going to find something to eat. Can I bring you back something?âÂ
âI havenât watched too many muggle movies but I have seen that one.â Cecily tried to keep up with muggle world as much as she could, there were some aspects that she truly appreciated but sheâd always pick wizard lifestyle over muggle one. âThat would be great, bring whatever you pick for yourself.â
