I usually do my locs myself. I’ve had them on and off since I was 18. When I cut them sometimes it was to get the bag . Sometimes it was because they served their purpose and it was time for a change. My relationship with my hair is intimate. My parents taught me that my hair is a body part and always take care of it and a bunch of other 💎s. This is the third time I’ve had them at this length. I usually cut them about now (around 2 years) but I think I’m gonna keep them this time. No clue how long, real shit they are getting heavy 😅. And sleeping has been an adjustment. Gotta keep hair ties on deck! I’m talmbout in the car, on the side of the bed, at the office, on my wrist, in my backpack, and gym duffle, shower too 🙃🤪. Nigga I got a bonnet! My Mom clowned me on FaceTime😄. I don’t mind all the maintenance as much this time though. I think I may have found a #loctician that I’m cool with being all in my scalp. #retwist this weekend might have to make it a holiday 😁.
