“No you didn’t hurt my feeling and don’t call me that.”
“Aww,” he smiled tilting his head to the side.

“No you didn’t hurt my feeling and don’t call me that.”
“Aww,” he smiled tilting his head to the side.
“Number 1, I don’t complain. Number two, if I ask for help you’ve definitely proven you’re not the one to go to. And three—no, one and two pretty much cover it.”
“Well if one and two cover it, can this conversation be over? I have a dinner to get to.”
“I was just trying to start a conversation you don’t have to be an ass.”
“Aw, I’m sorry princess. Did I hurt your feelings?”
“I don’t see why you need to feel the need to tell me that, I didn’t say anything in which it would be your problem.”
“Well you’re complaining like I’m going to do something about it.”
“It’s not- but you could always help me not be bored.”
“and how would I do that?”
“Whatever helps you sleep at night,” Charles smiled and winked at the other male. “God, it won’t take long. I’ll make sure it doesn’t. Besides, they would ask you to do it anyway.”
Thomas paused to consider, “What’s in it for me?”
“We kind of do. It depends on the way you see it, though. But do you know what it’s like to have an imprint? It’s much harder than bringing a damn cloak down, I’ll assure you that. Besides, I won’t be asking you to do it every bloody day.”
“You don’t. At all.” Thomas smirked from ear to ear, “And you do realize that if I let it down for you all the other hybrids would be asking me too.”
“Actually, I threatened you because you refused to bring the cloak down when I politely asked you to. But don’t worry, I’ll find another witch that’s willing to help me.”
“Do you have any idea how many times a day I get asked to bring that thing down? You all came to us and begged us to put it up, we gave up our lives to be here and you all seem to think you own us.”
“She’ll get used to it. Everyone does, eventually. But tell me, how is that any of your business?”
“Well you’ve decided to threaten me for no good reason so I’m making it my business.”
“Ah,” he simply said, giving the other male a small nod. “You must have a death wish. I would be glad to make that dream of yours come true.”
Thomas smiled, raising his hand. “Tell me, does your human enjoy your threats?”
She nodded, completely serious. If she got caught, Erik would be so pissed that he would lose his imprint on her. “Yeah, of course.”
“Okay,” he said quietly and walked towards the door. He raised his hands to the barrier and closed his eyes. A few moments later he turned to her, “Come on,” he mouthed.
“I will snap your neck if you don’t do it. Can you see the part where this is your problem now?”
“Oooh, let me think about it.” He paused to pretend to think, “Uhm nope I still don’t see it.”
Not thinking her plan would actually work, a smile broke out onto her face as he agreed. “Really?”
Thomas rolled his eyes when she smiled, he told himself he wouldn’t get caught up in helping the humans and here he was. “Come on, make sure you’re quiet so they don’t hear you.”
“Not all of them. Just Erik, and maybe Cal. But I can calm Erik down and tell him it was my idea, so I don’t think he’d hurt you.”
He hesitated for a second to think about it,”Ugh, alright fine! But if I die for this I will haunt you.”
“It’s not like they would notice. They go in and out everyday, so it wouldn’t phase them. Once we’re both away from it, you can put it right back up.”
“They’ll put my head on a spike if anything happens to you.”
“Well, if you take the wall down, we could go for a swim in the lake.”
“If I take the wall down, I’ll have some very temperamental hybrids to deal with.”
“it’s not right now, but it could be. Come on just five minutes, please.?”
“Sorry, was that a threat?”
