i didnt see anything. Probably just a bird on the roof. Anyway. Not to sound like the friend that’s too woke but I suspect that website-based curricula (where communication, homework, grades, etc are accessed online)is terrible for people with adhd. From what I’ve heard about adhd (and from my own experiences as someone with a lot of adhd traits), it seems like every step makes a task exponentially harder because of the effort it takes to start something new, and any barriers to starting a task make starting seem impossible, for example, “open folder -> take out piece of paper -> do problems on piece of paper” is a very low-barrier task with few steps, but “take out computer -> open website -> click portal to second website -> enter username and password -> take out phone -> type in code -> access website -> find tab -> open tab -> click link -> edit word doc to answer question”… not so easy. Not to mention that this whole process is taking place on the Distraction Device that contains Everything Ever

plus, I find it extremely helpful to be able to see the size of the task before I start it. If it’s a paper packet I know sort of based on how many pages there are how long it’s going to take me; whereas with a pdf it’s much harder to get that sense of scale and starting something is a lot more daunting bc you don’t feel like you know exactly what you’re getting yourself into.
