Victoria's Secret

Today I went by the victoria's secret in an attempt to exchange my #VSSportbra that was too small.

I walked in and asked the team to exchange my bra. They noticed it was from online and offered to simply do an online exchange for a different size. I was not sure exactly what size I needed, simply that it was too small. I asked to get fitted so that I could just exchange it for an item in store that I knew fit.

They were very accomodating, the sales associate let me to the fitting room and measured across my chest to get an idea where to start and began giving me fit bras. It took 3 tries to get the right fit, since i seem to be an odd size and really in-between. The associate got a 2nd opinion and both sales people were super nice and attentive to get the right fit.

Once the size was decided they brought me a couple options to try (the style I received was not available in-store. That's fine there were some cute options still available. I decided on one i liked and was sent to the cashwrap, where i waited in a brief line.

The sales girl was super nice, however she was very unsure of how to handle my exchange as it did not come with any invoice or instructions for her. (Influenster should have offered a little more info on that point to make the exchange more seamless.) Well. I ended up with no exchange. She called the service desk and they had to send the item back to online distribution. So I left empty handed with no idea how long I will be waiting for them to send me a gift card in the mail so I can get a new bra that fits.

I feel like I wasted my time. The note in my influenster box made it sound like it would be simple to exchange. =( I guess this review is to be continued...

At least the customer service was great and now I know what size bra I should be wearing.

VSX Review

I have always been a fan of Victoria's Secret, however had not tried their activewear until now. I received the "runway front-close sport bra" in a super cute teal and lime green mesh. How did they know?? I am loving the color and front-zip on it. It has a racerback with adjustable straps, unlike any other sport bra I have ever used. AWESOME. I don't have to crawl through it and it will not mess up my hair! I am going for support in this new bra #sportbrabreakup. Kicking my old sports bras to the curb.

I will never go back!

I also received a capri athletic pant in a heathered navy. I was worried about putting on some spandex, only to be pleasantly surprised! They have a mid-rise so they are super flattering on my not-so-perfect tummy.

I may not work out much, but I have a super active job. It is super nice to find a sports bra that does not completely flatten me out, while keeping me dry when I'm sweating my butt off. LOVE IT.
