Hello everyone! I know a lot of you from previous HPH revivals and other places on tumblr, but it's nice to meet you otherwise! Celes has always been my favourite, so I'm really looking forward to rping with everyone u vu

My presence here will be scarce come next week, as I'm driving across the country to move from Northern California back to my home in Upstate New York. Hotel wifi isn't always reliable, but if I can get on at all in the evenings to post a reply I will do so!

Aaaand, that's about it! I hope you don't mind Celes. She's...well, she's definitely an interesting girl.

  While Sayaka Maizono was probably his number one choice from the school-she was an /idol/ of course he was interested, it didn’t mean he didn’t like to try his moves on other pretty girls. Besides, there were a lot of things he could get from Celes that he couldn’t get from miss Idol. He leaned his elbow on the table and gave what he thought was an award winning grin at her.

“Yeah, I don’t eat those. I have an in with one of the cooks so he always saves me some of the good stuff.” Wait… vaguely attractive? He wasn’t sure if it was a compliment, but he was gonna take what he could get! The Hope’s Peak girls were an interesting bunch, after all.

His grin was tacky, and caused her to tense up for a brief second. The thought of this guy smiling like that at people, maybe even simply to get his way, not only aggravated her but impressed her as well.

"...Good stuff?" Celes' smile widened, if only by a millimeter. What sort of 'good stuff' could he be getting? High quality food, perhaps? Although...many things were higher quality than what was on her plate.  Hm. "What...exactly, does the cook set aside for you?" Her hands folded under her chin, leaning herself towards Leon. "That sounds awfully luxurious."

  Of course Leon noticed her. A stone cold fox like her wasn’t going to slip by his radar. Now, he has tried to strike up with Celestia in the past, but they hadn’t all gone very well… He was pretty sure one time he talked to her and she tried to set him on fire. And another time she might have tried to curse him with a verbal spell. Either way, he was feeling much more confident now. He’d been practicing his electric guitar all summer, so he was sure he was at least 23% cooler than he was at the end of the year before.

He got his food and headed over to the dark corner where she sat, dropping his tray on the place next to her, and then sitting beside her. “What’s cookin’ good lookin’?”

The spiky mop of orange hair was heading her direction. It was too late to escape; eye contact had been made. When would he learn that she was simply not interested? He had better luck with the idol. They could duet or something.

Regardless, she wore the same, eerie smile as usual and turned to her classmate.

“What’s cookin’ good lookin’?” 

Oh, come on. That's really the best he has? Great. "Nothing but these terrible chicken legs. They taste like sandpaper." She looked at him dead in the eyes, always smiling. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to play along. "How about you...vaguely attractive baseball player?"

Another year at Hope Peak Academy. Everything seemed to be going by so fast… And he still hadn’t even found a girlfriend yet! He wasn’t used to the girls at this school. None of them seemed to care how good he was at baseball. Oh well, he was gonna have real game with the ladies this year for sure. Plus… new freshman girls, always a plus.

He stretched after setting all his bags into his room. He had the rest of the night free, since classes weren’t until the next day, so he fixed himself up a little in the mirror before stepping out of his room and heading down to the cafeteria to get something to eat.

Deplorable.

The state the food was in was absolutely horrendous. Disgusting. Mediocre at best. Some plebeian had taken the last of her precious dumplings from the buffet-style metal tray, so she settled for a few pieces of chicken (dry and overcooked, by her standards) and some spinach (clearly not organic; probably from a frozen package).

Despite this, alone she sat, at her usual corner booth away from the masses of super high school level students who didn't please her too much. One of the more notable annoyances had just walked in; SHSL wanna-be rockstar. She was the only other senior in here, but hopefully he wouldn't notice her.
