Oh how I miss it. There is a heatwave in Kalos right now and I wish I were back home during the cool Sinnoh spring weather. The sun has no business getting this unbearably hot in May.
I have heard from a friend that the weather in Kalos can get unpredictable this time of year, but I haven't had the pleasure of visiting. Not yet, anyway!
Hopefully you're staying cool as you can over there.

Dragapult: Well, do I get to choose a time period, too...? What a question to ask a mythologist! There are too many places I want to go to count.
Sinistcha: Well, this question on the heels of the last one makes me want to visit a café... I enjoy tea over coffee, and prefer hot matcha lattes with a little bit of honey.

Hm... on the heels of the previous post, I struggled with my identity quite a bit when I was younger. I felt pressure to conform to what other people, and society at large, expected me to be, even if it didn't make me happy. It led to the development of a bit of a reckless streak, which I still feel but try not to indulge overmuch.
So in short: it went badly! I'd encourage everyone reading this post to introspect and explore your own identity and the things that make you truly happy. There are people who will love you like that.
marowak: what does the concept of family mean to you? is there anyone in your life you would consider family?
froslass: what does gender mean to you? is it something that's central to your life, or do you not think about it very often?

Marowak: I believe family can be blood relatives as well as people who choose to be family. I still have a few of the former--my grandmother, aunt, and cousin in my hometown--and a handful of the latter as well.
Froslass: Now this is a bit of a complicated question! I consider myself a femme goth woman, and that informs how I present myself to the world. So it's central to parts of my life... but now that I've figured it out, I don't put too much thought into it--it just sort of is.
It was quite the struggle for me when I was younger, though.
polteageist: what's your most valued possession? why is it meaningful to you?
chandelure: have you ever gotten lost somewhere? how did you find your way home--if you did?

Polteagiest: Hm... I try not to get too attached to material possessions. You can't take it with you, after all. But I do have a few jewelry pieces that belonged to my mother and other relatives... I wear them because that's what they're for, but I'd be sad to lose them.
Chandelure: Oh, I've gotten turned around plenty of times in old ruins. My trick is to keep my left hand on the wall to get back out. That hasn't steered me wrong yet!
dusknoir: what's your preferred method of communication? what about communication device? why?

I have a smartphone, but I don't like typing on it very much--I usually use voice to text. I prefer to use a laptop, which is a bit of a hassle in the field, so I make do with the smartphone when I can. For truly out-of-the-way places, I carry a satellite phone for emergencies.

Hm... I suppose there are places I'd like to travel to someday, and people I'd like to see again... but to increase the scope of my thoughts a little, I have always dreamed of uncovering something like the purpose of a historical site or the inspiration behind a myth. Not necessarily something big or life-changing, but just a little thing that sheds light on the way people lived and believed before.

Exploring Sinnoh's historical sites does typically get one out of doors! But I spend a lot of time in an archive, as well. If I had to pick... well, I'm not sure I could. I enjoy both too much.

Hm... I would say the support of my loved ones is very important to me, but I do tend to be independent. I think there's a balance to be struck, and you should never be afraid to ask from help from the people who love you. That's what friends are for, yes?
