This legitimately isn’t OP, I broke into this Tumblr by accident (@ OP I use the same throwaway mail account as you apparently) and changed the password. Does anyone know another way of reaching her? I feel really bad lol.

“exactly,” audrey spoke confidentially, her previous emotions gone. audrey was very admirable of her older sister, wanting nothing more than to be similar to her. “out of everyone in the house i definitely think i am the most capable of keeping it clean,” audrey half joked. “aside from yourself obviously.”
“well, now it’s you, payton and me.” celine smiled. she looped her arm with audrey’s, adjusting her bag on her other arm. “i have some errands to run before we head home. do you want to join me? or where you off somewhere?”

Ashton’s nose wrinkled with distaste at his ex’s imitation. His bitter feelings toward Celine had yet to diminish and, unfortunately, crossing paths with her was inevitable. He snorted at her jab. “Glad to see your insults haven’t improved.” He quietly watched as Celine ended her phone call, eyebrow quirked. “When you’re done acting like I’m the one at fault…” He glanced at his phone once more, before practically glaring at her. “Don’t feel like you have to put your life on hold for me. We both know that was never a problem in the past anyway.” Honestly, half of the time, Ashton forgot why he felt so insulted about the situation, about them. It was bound to crumble, they both knew that, but now he felt so petty when Celine was in front of him.
“You’re right. It never was. So I still don’t know why you have the urge to act like a three month relationship meant something to you when you didn’t even try.” She chuckled bitterly. Celine made her intentions known since the moment they got together that she was work-driven. Still, she put time aside for him and for a while, they worked. Obviously not enough. “If you’re done being childish, I have to get going.”

edith frowned, “i was genuinely curious but okay. remind me to never ask again” though their interests were vastly different, if edith asked about something her siblings were interested in, she was actually interested. “yeah, sure. if we don’t need milk like right this second. i need to get paisley from the babysitter.”
“paisley. hm.” celine didn’t say anything further than that. she’s in no position to judge her siblings, they’re all adults who can make their own decisions. whether she approves or not, it doesn’t matter. frankly, she’d rather see edith do something else with her life, but it’s not up to her. “no, no, take your time. there’s some leftover lemon pound cake in the fridge if you’re going to bring her back here. suggest you stop by the grocery store after if you want milk to go with her slice.”

Ashton hadn’t looked up from his phone, too busy trying to convince his co-worker to take his shift. So, when he collided with another body, it came as a shock. He juggled his phone from one hand to another, trying to keep it from hitting the ground, but still dropped the device nonetheless. “Shit.” He picked it up and turned it in his hands, checking for cracks. “Damn, sorry about that. I –” Ashton stopped as he finally glanced at the another person. “Oh. It’s you.”
Her expression instantly soured. It wasn’t uncommon bumping into her ex, but it was certainly something she could do without. “Oh it’s you.” She mimicked, standing straighter. “Nice to know you still have the attitude of a twelve year old, Ashton. Bravo.” She picked up her phone, bringing it back to her ear and mumbled a quick goodbye, not comfortable having the other party hear this conversation. “When are you going to quit being so condescending?”

Wyatt quickly made his way down the sidewalk, mindlessly talking with his mother on the phone. She had called, worried per usual – blabbing about it being summer and him not having class, asking about when exactly he was planning to come home. He had ignored most of it, focusing on passing faces. “Yeah, no, I don’t know yet. I haven’t had time to look at flights –” Wyatt’s shoulder collided with someone and his phone tumbled out of his hand. He stared at it, before quickly looking up. “Oh damn, I’m sorry! Are- Are you okay?” He bent down to snatch his phone off the pavement. “Sorry, I wasn’t really paying attention.”
A pitiful expression fell on her face as she took in this sudden clash. His phone actually fell to the ground while hers was pressed to her chest, tightly. “I’m fine.” She clarified, voice gentle because he didn’t appear very well. “Both of us were distracted, it’s not your fault. No need for apologies. Is your phone alright?”

loren had been in her head almost all day practically. sure it was only two in the afternoon but her brain was pretty much going a mile a minute. she collided with celine and was taken aback. she looked up and smiled, “sorry about that. is your phone okay?” she asked.
“my phone is fine, don’t worry.” celine nodded. her phone hadn’t fallen, clutched instead to her chest. “are you alright? i’m not usually this distracted.”

HEADCANON 002: celine feels like an outsider in her own family. she loves them. but it feels more like sharing a home with roommates than it does family. she feels like she needs to put effort in bonding with her siblings but when it comes down to it, she doesn’t. celine does care for them and their troubles, it’s just hard showing it that it makes her come off cold and even more distant than she already is. so she’s counting down the days until she leaves. it’ll be better that way. less forced everything.
HEADCANON 001: when her parents died, celine didn’t cry. she was surprised to learn of her parent’s demise but she didn’t once shed a tear. not when they saw the bodies, not at the funeral, not at the wake, not that night. not ever. she was heartbroken sure, but celine simply moved on. sometimes she feels guilty about it, like something’s wrong with her but over the past three years she’s learned to accept it.

with his eyes glued tight to his phone, while thumbs tapped out text after text, it was only a matter of time until logan banged shoulders with another pedestrian. looking up to see none other than his sister, his mouth quirked into a surprised grin. “apology accepted. who’s on the phone?”
“i...have to go. i’ll call you later.” celine hung up the phone after a rushed goodbye. her surprise soon replaced by a smile. “no one of importance.” she said, moving a strand of her hair away from her face. “what are you up to, today?” she asked instead, changing the subject.

audrey felt a smile of relief comes over her face audrey let out a sigh. “that’s good then,” she chuckled also. suddenly, feeling a certain seriousness come over her audrey straightened up and faced her sister. “you know that i can help right?” she asked as an amount of inadequacy built up in her. “i don’t mind helping out every once in a while.”
“i know.” celine was used to being second in command in their household. perhaps some of payton’s parental-ness rubbed off on her since she never finds it necessary to ask her siblings to help further than what they do on their own. “alright here’s the deal, you can help. someone has to learn my routine since i’m transferring next year. who better than you?”
