HYPERZINE Vol 6. - Afterimages is OUT!!

The Sixth One what the eff!! For the sixth time everyone involved delivered great pieces and I am again joyous to be a part of it :D The theme for this one is Cinema so as for my piece I have gone with what I considered one of the most memorably absurd contributions to cinema aka The Holy Mountain!! Please go watch if you haven't! (Right after taking a good gander at our wonderful zine of course.)

Can't believe it's the fifth one I'm in already.. My contribution is rather small in this one but as Always I'm glad to have been a part of it nonetheless! Here's my cheeky little piece of the Holy Spirit that is SebastiAn(+ a colourless version for those who'd like to better observe how many pieces of dark clothing he is wearing.)

HYPERZINE Vol.4 - New Lands is OUT!

Once again I couldn't be more grateful of another chance to be a part of a creative project well-packed with talents!!! Here's my contribution to the zine, some details, inspired by a terrific poster of one of my all time favourite films Videodrome(1983).

huge thank you to skeg & celsius for organising and creating the zine as always!!!

my main inspiration was (of course) was the famous scene from blade runner 2049, paired with the hyperdrama photoshoot which seems to have some echoes of inspiration from that film too.

Hyperzine presents: MELODRAMA

To celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Hyperdrama, we’ve put together a special zine for the occasion! 15 artists contributed a piece dedicated to a song on the album. Mine was ‘Moonlight Rendez-vous’, an instrumental piece that made me think of rainy evening walks and neon signs I saw on my late night drives through LA.

🖌 I went all-in on this painting! When I found this photo on my Many Travels (perusing tumblr blogs from 2012) I knew I was about to make a fool of myself recreating it.

There are two versions of this painting. The Pink print is the original one I made, after I had wacked up the tones on the original photo so I could see it more clearly. The Red one is the result of slamming the tones back down and boosting the reds so it looks a little more like the original photo. I liked them so much I wanted to publish them both!
