With all these rumors about Ben leaving, again (sigh), I thought it'd be a good time to bring up that for me loosing Ben's Batman was a fear after how awesome his character was in BvS but after Justice League and WW, loosing him isn't so bad since we got Gal's WW, Ezra's Flash, Fisher's Cyborg, and Jason's Aquaman to compensate from his popularity.
In the past I have been the leader of the “Ben’s not going anywhere” parade, but only before I saw Justice League, and now, I wouldn’t blame him at all for walking. I also don’t think I’d mind- and part of that is because we have Ray, Ezra, and Jason, but most of it is because I’m not sure they’re ever going to let Ben do the kind of amazing intense work that we saw in BvS ever again.
If studio interference is that absolute, I wouldn’t want Affleck or any other actor to put himself through the sort of disrespect and humiliation he was so afraid of in the first place when he TOOK this job. He had to be assured that he wasn’t going to be doing another Daredevil, and the most horrifying thing is that I think even the theatrical cut of Daredevil is a better film than Justice League. His performance in what made it into the theatrical version of DD is certainly more solid than the rough cuts and reshoots we see in Justice League.
These actors, especially in these roles where they’re dressing up in jumpsuits to play pretend battle with invisible monsters, they put their faith in the studio and the directors to not make them look terrible; to not make them a joke, and this movie failed them. Snyder consistently held up his end of the bargain, in terms of support, in terms of taking the work they were doing seriously. Without that, I don’t blame any one of them for walking away.

CLARK KENT/SUPERMAN & LOIS LANE
You look at Superman, and you wonder, what can he possibly have to worry about? What could possibly ever hurt him? But just because his skin is invulnerable, that doesn’t mean his heart is. And that’s how you hurt Superman. You break his heart.
I can do things that other people can’t.
you can be great. choose to be.
So, what are you in the mood for? Oh, I’m in the mood… just not for breakfast.

That farmer’s dream is all some people have. It’s all that gives them hope. This means something.
smallville meme: [1/3] relationships → clark kent & lois lane “All my life I’ve been afraid Lois. Afraid of people knowing the truth about me. Afraid of them rejecting me and even if they didn’t, still losing them. I’ve been of everything I can’t control. But when I was faced with the idea of losing you forever it made me realize there’s something I would regret more than anything else, and that’s not telling you the truth about me. Because that’s the only way we could share a life together. I know the odds are stacked against us and we would be risking everything, but if you are ready to take that leap, there’s no one else I would want to take that leap with.”
