So I've been meaning to [UPDATE NOW] this blog properly for a couple days, but [CRT] and I are both... uh. [[BRAND NEW]]. He's here, though, which means the description isn't accurate anymore. I. Don't know what to [[TELL A FRIEND!]] you about that. We're [SHARE] this blog, for now, so if a tag starts with a 📺 it's [CRT] talking. He doesn't want to use it too much- for a control freak he's being real careful about my boundaries lately- but he also doesn't want his own blog, so. THIS IS SO CUTE AND THE ART STYLE IS SO NICE UGH. I’ve also thought abt Spam being an artist since he has to draw his own ads by hand because he can’t do pop-up ads the same as the other Addisons. And tenna being supportive of it and helping get his crew along to construct advertisement backdrops or standees for his ads…

I also know as an artist you’ve got that creative urge just to make something, anything, but I feel like with what Spamton’s body becomes after his downfall, it would be like starting anew with his surely shaky and glitchy hands. And given his egotistical and self loathing personality, I think he’d not want to see that all he can create anymore looks like children’s drawings, so he’d just give up trying to draw at all.

That creative urge would haunt him though… we see that he (assumably) painted his store walls. Not terribly, but it is simple, glitchy, and a little sloppy with paint droplets.

The glitches could either be a manifestation of his glitchy hands against the paint and brick or from the wall literally glitching, itself. 🤷

We see broken pop-up ads leading up to Spam’s shop in the trash zone, and these always came off to me as his failed/trashed attempts to make ads again. If making pop-ups is like drawing to an Addison, that could add to the spamton artist hc.

But either wayyyy I should draw these ideas… I also want to draw Spamton rediscovering his passion for art with Tenna’s support after they reunite in castle town… Tenna wouldn’t care how bad it looks to Spam, because he would love anything he makes, anyways. 🤭
