I had a random thought a minute ago. Safe vore/endosoma can work extremely well as a metaphor for love, and this effectiveness isn't reduced by the live being platonic. Under the cut, I'm going to give a general save vore concept, then abstract as much as I can for both the pred perspective and prey perspective. Hopefully it'll demonstrate the point coherently.
Literal:
A pred and a prey care very deeply for each other, each wanting to show the other how much they care. They mutually come to the decision that the pred can swallow the prey. In doing this, the pred is accepting the risk that the prey could try to hurt them from the inside in order to have them in their stomach, and the prey is accepting the risk that the pred could try to digest them in order to feel the comfort and safety of the pred's stomach.
Abstract, pred POV:
You have a person that you care for very deeply. You care for them deeply enough that you're willing to show them the most sensitive side of yourself. You want to protect them to the best of your abilities, even though that opens up the possibility that they could use this trust to hurt you. You accept the risk, letting them deep into your life and giving them all the affection you can give them.
Abstract, prey POV:
There's this person who you hope cares for you as deeply as you care for them. You assume that they could hurt you if they wanted to, but trust them to not do so. You care for them so deeply that you accept being vulnerable with them, accepting the risk that they could take advantage of you in order to show that you want to be there for/with them, and to show just how much you appreciate them.
Knight oc yap: The Knight, giants, humans, vore so Lore drop
i like to think humans are extra scared of Knight in his universe
There are maaaany fictional and mythological creatures in the world including giants- that have an opinion of man eaters (as in not safe at all way) but aren't nearly as gigantic as Knight- that could be closer to Titan than a giant.
so i think seeing creature that big in armor too knowing similiar species eats your kind like fries would be terryfing risking heart attack.

Knight despite not eating humans often, he was actually made to eat them
you see he was made not born, he is a magical being made long time ago for war- magic that was used to create him is no longer exist, forgotten with time.
with also means he cannot truly die, he can get terribly hurt but his body cannot be destroyed fully. He can survive many things but it leaves him in extreme pain sometimes unable to move or left unconscious.
Because of his extreme size he has trouble finding food, tough he has found a way
Villages, cities, kingdoms etc lure a lot of demons, monsters and other creatures. Knight takes advantage of that by staying just close around humans so he can fish out the biggest creatures- one hunt can last him for one maybe two weeks as he digests food in much different way
but it isnt about that
Knight was made to consume human emotions, he can still digest them if he wants to but it would be cruel isn't it? By swallowing a human he digests and absorbs emotions of them, he can taste them and read people in most detailed way possible. Its not the end tough
Knight cannot speak out of his size, he can make dragon like noises (as he was made out of body parts of a dragon) but overall cannot shape words- but if you will fall asleep inside of his stomach right along with Knight. Your mind no matter what will be placed in a some sort of dream pocket dimension in with you can freely talk with Knight himself! He tough sizes himself down to appear less frightening, sometimes not showing as himself at all- he happened to appear as a unicorn, dragon, voice, deer or his apperance changes depending on how stong eaten persons mind is.
While eating multiple people (that will sleep) they all end up in one place, will remember the same thing and can interact with each other
also just few hours spent in the belly of the beast will feed him for at least a month as its not physical "food"
also He very rarely eats humans out of few reasons:
-in the past when he was first created he had killed (and eaten) few humans before, mostly out of insanity and desperation
-he had a boyfriend actually he had consumed regularly as a way to feed and also as a personal thing, after his death Knight had a mental breakdown and from that time he avoids eating humans as he blames himself for his partner death (it wasn't his fault at all actually, Skuba- bf has died bc of sickness that literally almost no one survives. After what he went through he has a lot of problems)
-he feels bad when he scares humans
Usual human interaction with Knight:
usually people only see Knight just walking in the distance, locals that see him very often usually show no worry of Knight attacking them or hurting them in any sort of way, some think of him highly as there was a situation of him killing a tyrannical demon that harrased and demanded sacrafices from the village/city for YEARS and rescuing a group of people from death by that (also worth mentioning he literally ripped them out of the gut of the beast and carried them straight to the city). Most humans show healthy fear tough,
the ones who see Knight most close are travellers or people that have to go to the nearby forest/moutains- they often see the giant hiding in between the trees close to trails either observing humans, fighting monsters/demons or already consuming said creatures (also worth mentioning- Monsters are usually too big to swallow whole so most of the time Knight is seen covered in blood ripping flesh from bones)
Knight ignores most humans as most avoid him and dont bother him but ones who are feeling a little too brave will receive a stare- and that is enough to turn them away but if they still keep going Knight will simply walk away maybe give out a growl as a warning- most of the time.
It depends on situation but Knight does sometimes interact with humans- with gave him a pretty positive opinion around adventurers and travellers by him jumping in the situation if human is in danger,
either if attacked by a monster or just lost, cold, hungry or just exhausted.
through the years Knight has carried lost travellers closer to the trail or village, guarded small groups and loners if wolfs, bears or monsters/demons were nearby, has slayed creatures in defense of a person
and few times eaten travellers to keep them warm- with only happened three, four maybe five times. This one is mostly thought of a scary story to warn travellers from unpredictable behaviour of the moutains and to actually be ready to travel.
The time when Knight gets to actually fully interact with humans is when he got shot by a monster hunter by a specific weapon made to slay titanic class monsters.
He survives but is found heavily wounded by fishermen (since he collapsed nearby a lake) and is treated by young monsterologist-scientist and his friend-a prostitute that has lost her father to the tyrranical demon mentioned before. She actually makes the first move towards the Knight to communicate- with prooves Knight as intelligent being wishing no harm to humans that gives the Titan protection from the Kingdom ruler with basically means that no one in the kingdom can hurt, hunt or bother Knight, after that event Knight recovers nearby the city with the help of two mentioned before that can now be thought as friends of Knight. He gets "tamed" and for the first time since many years he is truly comfortable with eating a person and does it much more often as a way to communicate with people.

few important things:
-Knight is quite a poeth
-he is quite shy actually when comes to humans but will explode with everything he has to say if given the chance with can be endless
-adores horses, cows, donkeys and other creatures like that
-Knight's armor cannot be taken off by himself, only a human can do it and also to a human armor is suprisingly very light and it almost unbreakable.
-If able to Knight will hold a person in his mouth for a long time if person feels an emotion Knight likes the taste off, he is very delicate and careful and will never throw a person around keeping them in once place most of the time.
-Sometimes he doesn't swallow someone at all, he just likes the taste
