Anon hate is going around and it really makes the Detroit RPC look toxic

Century says anon hate is not the way of the future of Detroit! 

Most who send hate filled messages have something to hide themselves! We understand everyone will not get along but energy and care comes with purposely sending anonymous hate messages. Would you expend such energy against someone you do not like? If you are imposing on someone while hiding your identity and they are continuing with their business it is you who cannot let lying dogs lie! 

Be kind to your fellow rpers. Be kind to your fellow consumers of Detroit. Remember there are bigger things going on in the world than sending hate to someone over the internet.

The last post with the screen I followed that person and they deleted it. I’m not following them anymore because their posts are bashing other Connors when they weren’t even in this fandom before others.

Hello gossipers! Century is back to talk about some serious issues brought to our attention once again on the top floor of the Century Gossip Machine! This item in particular no longer exists on the blog in question. Deleted but not forgotten!

We are welcoming in the rpc and everyone should feel they are not excluded or given a reason to feel their characterization is inferior. These comments while seemingly innocent on first read have made others question the full meaning behind them. The tags offer an air of elitism and a few discrepancies!

Connor makes up the bulk of the fandom and it is curious that none were seen! However the true matter is this loyal readers! Do not write canons simply because you feel they are not done justice and the goal is to make others feel inferior! It is brought to our notice that these were meant as insults with a gentle cover up expressing love of those same muses. Yet those Connors were not found! You be the judge! We only post what our tippers send!

What do you think about people spreading gossip about rpers in the community in general?

≡ We at Century look upon rp communities as inclusive and respectful. To know this is happening is disheartening. We do not condone slander without evidence dear readers. Gossip is meant to stay within the realm of IC content. There are words from those of you who have seen others attempt to blacklist and label fellow rpers with negative reputations. 

Century is first and foremost about roleplay content. However the staff will not tolerate blatant blacklisting. There are blogs who are responsible for labeling others as villains. They are not clean as we have seen from receipts! 

Those will remain tight lipped but just as when we exposed one speaking ill of original muses we are always watching. We know your secrets. 

We are all gossip all the time! Hot off the presses! Gossip is our flavor of love.

A shocking twist of events! What unexpected company to have here off the presses. Elijah Kamski himself threatens Century Magazine! An event that will go down in the annals of greatest murderous glances ever tossed this rag tag group of gossipers way! 

“Mr. Kamski! A pleasure and a privilege! We are infinitely sorry you feel we are abusing a power against your connections with Mr. DeVille. It will suit us fine to have you BOTH join us for a joint interview. We will plaster both of your immaculate faces on the cover of Century for all to ooh and ahh about! Century is once again seeing some questionable actions in the rpc. It is unfortunate and while we are a IC drama blog at certain points we feel the need to point out these discretions. 

We are stunned at times following the ins and outs of Detroit. We certainly prefer character shenanigans. People are falling into the line of being ignored or shunned for associating with particular blogs. It is a sad state of affairs. What happened to the rpc as we know it? 

Communication is key in roleplaying. The Century Staff knows it well with our information sources! But as a hot tipper has informed us many feel ostracized, slandered and downright excluded. This is a very depressing issue. Please be kind to your rp partners. Be kind to the ones who have been here since the beginning. Extend a hand to those who have just entered. Lend an ear to the OCs who wish for nothing but to bask in the creativity you canons explore. 

You heard it here first. If you lose interest in someone that is completely fine. Do the best thing. Unfollow them and if they happen to unfollow you let it happen. Chances are they are doing each other a favor. Do not string them along or make excuses.

Monster run amok!

Creatures take over in Detroit! Are the city’s denizens truly monsters?! Is there a gremlin hiding in your basement? Remember not to spill water on them! They might sprout a few more!

DEMONS AMONG US

Horror fiction or terrifying reality?! There are whispers surrounding Elijah Kamski in the last ten years. All of it seems rather crazy but then again he is a man who laughed in the face of God to create his very own perfect species! Androids. Everyone knows them! Mostly everyone at one point or another owned one before that nasty business with the uprising! 

However we are not talking about the man of the year’s accomplishments in technological advances. We are talking about a sordid private life filled with secrets aplenty! 

Currently we have been receiving more tips on that winged cryptid. We believe he is a demon! Well, some certainly do anyway! Straight out of Cyberlife Tower an anonymous tip has sent us some rather damning evidence this special android is actually a demonic figure from Hell itself that Elijah Kamski made a deal with!

Or perhaps he made a deal with the Devil himself?! Century aims to discover exactly who this Devil might be. Perhaps it is Mr. Kamski even! One never knows! 

But that is not all! Eye witnesses have spun a tale of an odd doppelgänger of sorts, a twin if you will of the winged monster! Are they both creatures born out of Hell? Is this demon worse than the other!? He seems rather gleeful about eating humans! 

Some of you might be saying: Century, you are having a slow news day! Why should we believe this hacked up news fodder?

Anarchy @fearanarchy​ wages war! 

Several Detroit residents have apparently been targeted by the fearsome organization. A terrorist group who claims they know all of our secrets! They have previously sent us a message to distribute to everyone in the city. Their threats seem valid. 

We at Century surely are not taking chances! If you happen to receive any strange correspondence from this group please send in your details! Every piece of news is good news! Even if it’s from a terror group!

So far it seems several androids at the DPD have been called out by the faceless ones! What will they do? Can they hunt this radical group down? Only time will tell!

@fearanarchy​ has provided us with some very questionable views. Is this really what a fandom comes down to? Speaking about OC’s being the same? Anarchy has expressed their concern and asked us to post this accepting full responsibility. This makes us sad especially when the person in question appears to interact with a few of those same originals. We have been told there is more but we would rather not post it.
