I’ve been writing Cersei x Jaime stories forever and a lot of people have told me how much they like them, yet I don’t get that many comments.

On fanfiction . net for the month of January alone I’ve had at 643 people visit all my fictions, most of which are Cersei x Jaime fictions. Let’s assume maybe half or more of those exited out after finding it wasn’t to their liking. So around 300 visitors read my stories. Yet, I’ve only gotten 3 comments this month. That means only 1% of my readers are commenting. This is very depressing and demotivating as far writing more.

On a03 it’s not much better. My story with the highest amount of hits has 6540 hits and only 51 comment threads. Granted there are probably people who exited out of it, plus a lot of repeat visitors, but this still is super low, especially considering the fact it’s over 40k words. I’ve put a lot of effort into this particular story, yet it seems to get even fewer comments than my other ones.

The story I’ve gotten the most comments on for the amount of time spent, has  2134 views and 30 comment threads. Which is not even 2% of people reading it. It might possibly be 3-5% if I account for repeat views and people that read some and decided it wasn’t for them.

I understand everyone in just about every fandom has a problem with people not commenting much on their fictions, however, I feel like my comments are exceptionally low. I’m not saying my fics are the greatest, but I feel like they’re good enough to deserve a lot more feedback then they are getting.

White people are literally being attacked and hated for being white and thats not racism? White people can’t talk about ANYONE non-white, but everyone else can smack talk white people and that’s not racism?  Fucking ignorant self righteous assholes piss me off.  We live in the same world fucker.  Guess what shithead, Irish are white people too but they were fucking hated and oppressed. Gee, that was nasty. Italians were hated too, correct? All the way in Yugoslavia, white people were slaves. That’s where they got their name. AKA MY ANCESTORS. MY WHITE ANCESTORS WERE SLAVES. (lets talk about THAT genocide). Actually, a lot of cultures had slaves. And a lot of them were white. The holocaust was a massive genocide. Maybe you heard of it. It might not have been racially motivated, but it was a massive predominately-white genocide.  It was the English and the Spanish that came over here and decimated Native Americans originally.  Where’s their bad blood? Because I assure you, America was not the only land to conquer territories.  Let’s talk about how SO. MANY. families grew up via popular culture. Hello white people all over the world that don’t live in the US. Hello white people who do because they’re immigrants, and not all are actually white, but maybe Mediterranean. Hello white people growing up in America still growing up via popular culture because that’s how we other directed generations do it now.  HI NON-AMERICAN WHITE PEOPLE WHO THINK ALL TEXANS WEAR BOOTS AND RIDE HORSES BECAUSE POPULAR CULTURE.

And guess what fucker, we are a melting pot. So these were our ancestors. A lot of us are children of immigrants. With white skin. So white people have a lot of the same experiences as you do either growing up or in their family tree. Because we all live in the same world, where people do Bad Things. And no one is exempt.  I believed we’ve all tried to kill and enslave each other at some point, correct? Raped, pillaged, murdered, conquered, destroyed, ravaged? Not one single color of skin is exempt from knowing poverty, hunger, or brutality, or even persecution.  Talking smack about white people, without giving them the equality to talk smack back, at this point hating them for existing, isn’t racism? Yes, it is. Excusing it because we “live in a different world”, is textbook 101 abuse. Excuses and rationalizations and telling the victim they aren’t a victim while kicking them.

As a half Italian (Sicilian Italian), not only were my ancestors discriminated against. I also have to put up with seeing a lot of ignorant stereotypes on tv and in real life. Seems everyone thinks if you’re Italian you must talk loud, be a criminal, or know someone in the mob. But everyone’s fine with that always since it’s not POC being portrayed in a negative light.

Chapter Summary: Cersei and Qyburn have a discussion regarding the prisoners and other matters.

Full Story Summary: After the loss of her last living child, a desperate Cersei will do anything to keep her crown and prevent the final part of her prophecy from coming true. Even marrying Euron Greyjoy. To further ensure she will not succumb to the prophecy's dark end she has Maggy brought to The Red Keep and interrogates her as to how to prevent her fate.

Jaime finds out about Lancel, and further angered by Cersei's plans to refuse to help against the war against the undead, they are not on good terms. When she informs him she will marry Euron, Jaime and Cersei have an explosive confrontation that cumulates in him leaving Cersei, who is pregnant.

One day, years later they will meet again. Will they be able to accept each other's betrayals, or end up killing each other?

This story follows canon until the end of season 6 then diverges. It is full of lot's of twists and turns and some chapters are told from Jaime's pov and some from Cersei's pov.

Warning: There is some Jaime/OC, Jaime/Brienne and Cersei/Euron in this but Cersei/Jaime is end game. You will have to read to see whether that means valonqar/suicide, happily ever after, or something else entirely.

Today we will debunk the theory of Jaime already being in love with Brienne and the theory that he will fall in love with Brienne.
