If anyone here has been following me for a while, you already know I don’t really understand the concept of consistency. I’m usually either busy, distracted, or I simply forget Tumblr exists.

I’m a nursing student, currently in my 2nd (2/3) year at a Polish university. I genuinely love learning, I probably know about a million random fun facts, and I am definitely way too dramatic. In the future, I want to work in a children’s hospital—yes, I know, unpopular opinion, but I adore those little gremlins.

Neurosurgery 4/10

The first week in neurosurgery is behind me. The ward is much smaller than I expected and there isn't that much to do. The evening classes are exhausting - I usually get home and the first thing I do is go straight to bed.

One a more positive note, I absolutely love the pediatric simulation classes. I don't think I've ever had so much fun during a graded assessment.

Still have about 500 slides to get through. And that's just one subject. I'm pretty sure this violates at least three human right conventions.

Another week in the hospital. My cardiology rotation is behind me, and now I’ve moved on to surgery. It’s only the third day, yet I already can’t stand this ward.

Second year is somehow worse than the first. I've already started practical classes, but I still have lectures in the evenings. I think I'm going to explode.

I just wrapped up my hospital internship!

The first two days were amazing, but after that I got so busy I didn’t even have a chance to post anything

Now my third semester has started and I feel like I’m living at the university. And when hospital practice classes start, it will only be getting worse. I only have five subjects, but they’re so packed that I’ve already burned through one whole pen taking notes.

Internship at the nephrology ward 2/12

The staff and patients are very kind

We don’t really have much to do – most of the time we just ask if we can help with something and then sit until we’re given a task

We mostly take measurements, wash patients, or carry samples to the lab on the other side of the hospital (I asked for directions three times and still got lost twice)

On the first day we assembled a table

They have absolutely delicious sandwiches at the bistro.

week 1 done with! this is shaping out to be an eventful semester but it’s my last year of my master’s so i’m really going to treasure it. heres to hoping i continue on into the phd!

august 28

fourth day of school!! my morning was chill as it always is on my ‘B’ day, i had study hall and got my entire ap euro packet finished (!!)

we did a simple lab in bio (bubbles and glycerin) and reviewed gen chem in ap chemistry. i have a review packet to finish.

i’m having a friend over to get some work done, so that’s why i’m posting a bit earlier!

do yall think i should post tomorrow? i definitely will be doing work, but i won’t be going to school so idk if anyone would be interested in that.
