Master thesis adventures #39
I usually don't work on uni stuff on Mondays because I work all morning and end up being quite tired in the afternoon. But today I decided to have a quick hour of planning the last section of the chapter, so that hopefully tomorrow I can go straight into writing.
The rest of of my afternoon has been finally catching up on tmagp, and continuing my reading of Wolf Worm by T. Kingfisher.

it’s been weeks since i posted anything here ‘cause this semester is getting serious… well, it’s been a lot of studying and researching and studying and researching lately! not complaining, though; i love doing it and i can’t imagine myself doing anything else :)

I finally have a physical copy of the first book I'll be reading for my thesis but I am not bringing it on holiday. I do not want to think about uni while I'm there.

I hate packing even if that means going on holiday but I did it. The bright side of the day was dogsitting for the whole afternoon, and getting to read in the garden while the doggo was playing. I also finshed my crochet shirt. I am very proud of how it turned out, it's not hanging to dry, and once I'll get home from the seaside I will give it a nice press so that it get get to its final shape. I am bringing yarn and hook on holiday, so who knows what I'll make next week!

I am not vibing with this book. It feels like trying to be deep and failing miserably. YK the books where you feel like all the deep quotes on google were picked up and blended together yeah. I am starting revision for clinical psych today I wish I had a date for the exam so I knew how much time I've left for it. I'm getting better at reading comprehensions! Yesterday I did 8 RCs and I'm happy with my work. I baked choco chip muffins today and they turned out horrible. I finished reading howl's moving castle and omg it is amazing! I'm reading house of many ways now. Also re-watching first love and @/museeofmoon was right about it . She knew I would love it
A new government program promises to remove the hands of all children.
"Hands could allow them to willingly self-generate abuse material," said the Prime Minister, "and we take child safety very seriously."
The program plans to also remove the hands of adults who appear to be children and adults selected as being at-risk for engaging in child abuse.
"That's the ingenuity of the program," said the Technology Secretary, "with the centralized infrastructure in place for hand removal, we can also prevent future predators from ever offending."

unlocking more coworker lore bc they're warming up to me. graduation to work on the ground level floor (we're speeding up my onboarding bc I'm That Good, so far). strawberries make the late shift sweet, sharing makes them sweeter. morning iced coffee and cat cuddles in the reading nook my beloved.
