hi im ceru/solanin/chihiro, im an adult (any pronouns, they/he preferred) and i like making art and writing

i post art & rambles about chainsaw man mainly, but my other fandoms include: gravity falls, tetro danganronpa (and a little bit of mainline series, sdr2 mostly), studio investigrave, zelda and a whole lot of other things that'll show up some day

i like crossover stuff as well so expect posts about that

disclaimer: while i wont be posting anything truly explicit on this blog, there will sometimes be suggestive art, and art/discussions that cover other sensitive topics. i have no problem interacting with minors in a quick vacuum (like through asks and such) but just be careful my only other socials (all less active): pixiv, reddit, insta, youtube ill be posting more of my animations/edits on insta and yt

i do have twitter but it sucks so im saving it for later

media literacy on this website would improve dramatically if people understood that “the narrative portrays this behavior sympathetically” and “the narrative endorses this behavior morally” are not actually the same thing. a story can be interested in someone’s loneliness or fear or reasoning without asking you to agree with what they did. sometimes the point is just that people become understandable long before they become justifiable

i am still genuinely so sad about the viktor rework he looks so bad and it just goes against his original character. like arcane s1 made viktor less insane and i was like you know what fine. its not THAT big of a deal its a show they have to maje changes like this for it to be interesting but idk wtf happened in season 2 that now hes a completely different character. MY HUSBAAANDDDD!!!!!!! Riot I hate you. youre the WORST!!! like why appeal to show watchers theyre not the ones playing the game. no one that watched arcane picked up league of legends. it should have just been like separate from the game lore... i havent visited his page yet cause im so scared theyve taken down his short story...

literally arcane was one of the best shows ive seen in my life so far and then they dropped the ball so hard (quite literally they fired like a good amount of the writing team) with season 2

its a whole thing... you know those close up shots they do sometimes where its gross on purpose? in the early 2000s they thought that was harmful to kids so they prohibited it from airing at all
