Bury the Hatchet is a scene that I look at a lot while trying to discern their relationship, and it’s brought a lot of questions.

WHY did Trevor leave Michael to the triads knowing he would die? Trevor was upset but he is all about loyalty, and with how much he loves Michael I’d love to understand the thought process.

Did he do it with the assumption that Franklin would save him? Or that he'd save himself? Would he have come to his senses/regretted it and save Michael? Or was he truly just blinded by anger/upset? Or does he just not care about Michael ? (Which I suppose can’t be true because he then saves him in The Wrap Up)

My BIGGEST question though is whether Trevor intended to shoot Michael. I fully believe Michael missed on purpose as he is meant to be an exceptionally good shot, but the noise Trevor’s gun makes before he throws it leaves me questioning if it’s the noise of the safety, or his gun jamming…

GOOD GOD Bury The Hatchet makes me feel things.

I can't remember who posted the analysis of the standoff (could have been on here or Reddit tbh), pointing out that when Michael shoots at him, he only has one hand on the gun when he usually uses both hands (which is why his aim is so good), so he obviously doesn't really want to shoot him. Trevor only ends up throwing the gun at Michael rather than shooting so again, didn't have the guts. You can hear that both of them are at breaking point (absolutely STELLAR acting by Ned Luke and Steven Ogg).

did he turn the safety on (to stop accidental fire while he throws it),

or did the gun jam which then leads to him throwing it as a last resort??
