Observations on life
After much reading and research... And after much deliberating.. I finally understood what religion actually means.. Religion isn't the praise of a deity.. Religion is the essence of everything. When you wonder who vast and infinite the universe is, and how everything in some way, as insignificant as it seems is connected. True undefined religion is realizing how mystical our world is how things manifest themselves with out the, power of a creator how the universe evolves every single second. And the understanding of or world from the simplest things such as a flower blooming or the birth of a living thing. The thought if this happing somewhere beyond or realm of sight or knowledge, somewhere beyond or limits is manifesting into something extraordinary.. So unreal to us, makes the mind think how the universe itself is alive... All it brings and gives.. To all the things that inhabit its vastness.. From a primitive mind like that of human to the intensity of a star.. That right there is true religion realizing that the universe provides us with the unexpected miracles and the mystical aura that makes everything connect that keeps time moving, that interlinks the essence of everything... There is no god.. The universe is responsible for everything.. Ill end it with my favorite quote "When you really want something everything in the universes conspires for you achieve it" paulo cohelo
Anybody want to discuss religious matters...
Just because I'm not a man of faith, doesn't mean I'm not a man of morals
Thoughts of a young atheist
Today I once again had an argument with a dear friend, because of the bombings in Boston. They kept saying "god be with them" or "keep the affect in prayers." And I asked after all the shootings all the terror after this! You still pray to a god? They answered "yeah! God has a plan for everything and things happen for a reason" so I told them looked them in the eyes and said there is no god.. There isn't anything out there.. Why must you ask for help and blessing to a god who has never done anything for you! The only person you should thank is yourself and those you have been there for you.. Instead of praying go and help do something! Go give blood ask! Praying isn't a solution it's a waste of time... Tell me if your god is so great why did he allow all the bad things to happen why must people suffer.. Why can't you just understand that the cause of everything falls into our actions as humans... They were quite and unresponsive... Finally I said "the key isn't hoping that some day will wake up and everything is magically fixed, I truly hope that one day people open there eyes and realize that the power to change comes from within, the will of a person can determine so much... The will of person and kill a god just as god has killed the will of person
Meeting the parents...
I'm talking to this beautiful girl right now she invited me to a wedding her family was having... I guess I was hoping to meet her parents and my parents meet her.. But I felt like we weren't at that stage yet so we agreed to avoid the whole scene while we where there. At the end of the party I kinda felt weird that I didn't meet her parents, although obviously they had seen me and now knew who I was... So now I'm scared that next time I see them it will be more awkward than it should have been..
