how do you create your sims 3 sims??? 😭😭😭 they’re so beautifull and wellmade, tips for a beginner?
making ts3 sims is a such a task tbh. but, i make their skins custom so that helps about 80% of the process.
usually because i have their skins exactly how i want it on the 3D head in PS i default out all their sliders to like 0 &work from there. that helps get them in a base game sim state as if they were pudding townies. it’s hard not to fuck that up because the 3D head is actually just the default pudding base so it’s more accurate than not.
it took me a while to realize that my sims weren’t coming out how i wanted every time i went to tweak their files because their sliders were so modded over years time. sometimes it really does help to just start from scratch with a premade.
sliders obviously comes into play but you’d be asking the wrong person if you’re looking for an extensive masterpost. i don’t use as much as i used to.
having said that.. i know the ones i can’t live without are PuchiHouse’s Smooth Face Normals, Grusesims’ Scalp Sliders (1) & (2), &a handful from OEM & Simtantico. also make sure you’re using MC to extend your slider limit. i think i have mine at 5.
references help too.. if you have a fc for them or a particular face you like.. try pulling that up while you’re in game & sculpt to your best ability.
